Both my dogs were having severe joint pain & were on prescription pain meds that caused GI problems. Neither dog can take anti-inflammatory meds or steriods due to GI issues. My 14y/o dog went into liver failure from a prescription arthritis med. After she survived the liver failure episode, I was adamantly against putting either of my dogs on prescription arthritis meds due to the side effects. I was running out of options to control the oldest dog's pain. I started researching supplement options to alleviate their pain. I now have them on this product, a Nutri-Vet joint supplement that contains hyaluronic acid, and fish oil caps daily. I have been giving them this combination of products for over 2 years & they are both off the prescription pain & arthritis meds. If I stop any one of these products they will start having problems with uncontrolled pain again. I found that you have to give this supplement with food or my dogs will vomit it up a short while later. I was previously using DGP (Dog Gone Pain) which also worked well, but this product is more cost effective & I have found that it works just as well. They also receive Adequan (hyaluronic acid) injections monthly at the vet's office. This combination of products has controlled their pain for over 2 years without any life threatening side effects.

This really helps my border collie with mod. pain. This along with Lakota I can manager her arthritis and hip dysplasia without going to prescription meds which can be very dangerous. I have had her on this for about 18 months.This product really helped my dog Honey after her acl surgery that still left her limping several months and $2,000 later! The vet had just wanted to put her back on pain pills. She was irritable and getting into fights with her brother. i know she's feeling better, because she's waling better and no more fighting either!We have a 4 yr old, 92lb American Bulldog that's had arthritis since he was 1 yr old. If he does anything fun like run, jump, or play with another dog he can barely walk for week. This works! He is supposed to have 3 but we give him 2 (to avoid tummy problems), crush them up & mix with a little can food and seriously, within the hour he is running & jumping onto the couch! We have tried, acupuncture, acu-laser & even stem cell therapy to help his pain & these aspirin really work! They really are amazing.We tried Dog Pain Away our dog was diagnosed with Hip Dysplacia and got to the point at only 6 years old where she coudn't put her one leg or paw down on the ground and would limp severly..We tried Dog Pain away for about 30 days and noticed that she not only could put her leg down but, could walk normally and even run again and her hips seemed to be quite even and normal. this is a great product I recommend highly, it doesn't appear to be the best tasting pill so you may have to put it in other food to get it down but, they get used to it.
