there must be a smell or something as my dog hasn't touched it. He usually eats them up esp if I get them from the pet store. but this must have had a smell or something because he won't go near it. Too much money to waste because of smell

update 1/11/2013 I guess the smell wore off as he ended up eating the whole thing... :) He loved it. Kept him busy for a few days at least

My 7 month old black lab absolutely loved this bone. He is a chewing machine and worked on this thing almost nonstop and it still took him about 3 or 4 weeks to finish it off (compared to the normal size bones which would last him only a couple of days). Excellent bang for your buck.

These are excellent bones. I have 2 big dogs and they usually eat them quickly but these ones lasted a little while.

This bone didn't last long, and that wasn't because it was crappy. Quite the opposite. My akita liked it so much, that she would chew on it all day. We finally had to take it away and give it back to her for an hour at a time.
