Our mixed terrier is quite a chewer so we have to pick toys carefully. This is my 2nd Squirrel Toy and both are still alive! We just use dog food bits for the treat and our dog plays with it and bounces it for quite a while to get them all out. It is a toy that keeps her busy for quite a while! My Shepherd mix has two toys like this, large and xl, and the cat kept dragging them around so I bought this xsmall one for him. He LOVES it. A wonderful product for dogs and cats.
