I recently went to the grocery store shopping and it occurred to me that I would be needing dog food soon so I bought purina healthy morsels since I couldn't find my regular brand. My dog seemed to like it but before long, she started throwing up and having diarrhea. This went on for two days. I was on the verge of taking her to the vet, but since I had switched dog food brands, I thought I would buy her regular food just to see if it might be the dog food. Well, guess what? Once I started giving her the regular brand, she didn't have any more problems.
I most definitely do NOT recommend Purina Healthy Morsels.
I am curious to know if anyone else has had this problem.

I am NOT impressed with Purina Puppy Chow "Healthy Morsels" at all! We're about 2/3 of the way through the first bag and I'm heading out today to buy them some Kirkland food.
The Healthy Morsels "dry" food is very sticky, which I find odd. It sticks to the scoop and I have to bang it on the bowl to get all the food out.
I have been increasing the amount of food that I give my two dogs because they are losing weight! I am currently feeding more than I have EVER fed my dogs, and both have lost weight -the younger one's ribs are actually visible now. And of course, with higher quantity feeding, they are also having more bowel movements, which is not a desirable side effect.
There appears to be little or no nutritional benefit to this food.
Switching foods today before my dogs waste away to nothing.

When I adopted my puppy Leila at 2 months old the previous owners told me they were feeding her Puppy Chow. I didn't exactly know what type of Puppy chow but I bought a small bag of Puppy Chow Healthy Morsels and Leila always ate them up within the blink of an eye. I feed her 2 cups once a day and my older dog who's 6 yrs. old even had to taste some for himself and liked it. I even buy Dog Chow Healthy Morsels for him now. What I like about the Healthy Morsels is that they have soft chewy beef bits mixed in with crunchy kibbles each of different flavors. I am guess the brown kibble is beef, the yellowish is chicken, green is peas or veggie, and each offers different flavor and textures. The bag suggests I continue feeding Leila puppy chow til she's about 1 yrs. old and then I can switch over to dog chow. She's currently 6 months old but loves to eat any type of kibble really. I'd recommend this healthy morsels puppy chow for anyone with a new puppy. They'll love the textures and flavors.Read Best Reviews of Purina Puppy Chow Healthy Morsels Formula Here
