I have had this item for two days, so this review may be of limited use to some. However, if you've repeatedly bought dog waste bag holders and have been disappointed...read on. Unlike other cloth / canvas holders here on Amazon, this pouch is very well-made. The stitching is very strong and everything looks well-designed and tight. The pouch has a plastic clip that attaches to the loop near the hand grip on the leash. It also has a velcro closure which you may attach to the leash itself below the plastic clip. It's very secure and prevents the pouch from flapping around if you run with your dog. The pouch itself has a velcro closure. To get a bag, just open it up, then close it and there's no need to worry about the roll unraveling.
In summary, this is a very well-made pouch. Whomever designed it definitely owns a dog. It addresses every shortcoming in the holders I've bought this year (which is three). All of the bases are covered. I'm quite confident that I won't be looking for another poop bag holder for a long time.
Note: I don't use the bag dispenser at the bottom of the pouch (as seen in the photo on the product page), so I can't comment on that aspect.
One more thing...the "Me Love Treats" pattern at the top of the pouch is actually a nice touch. I didn't like it intially when I viewed the item on Amazon, but it is subtle and looks quite nice. The photos on the website don't do it justice.

This is a fabric poop bag holder, so it is much more comfortable to use than the hard plastic bone holders with the screw-on tops ( I have arthritis so it is hard for me to screw on the plastic top). Poop bag rolls without the hard plastic center roller fit better in this fabric holder. You just insert the roll into the little fabric bag and push the edge of the first poop bag out the hole in the bottom. I like this much better than the plastic bag carriers that swing and bang around when walking. One thing though, the clip rides up on the lease handle loop so I removed the clip and attached it with a zip tie to a hole I pushed through the leash.This poop bag dispenser is of good quality. Definitely worth the extra money it costs compared to most other dispensers. I use BioBag Dog Waste Bags on a roll, which are a larger size roll than most other poop bag rolls and am able to fit these into this carrier (with a little shoving when the roll is new). Easily attaches to leash. Opening is a little small. May need to choose refills that aren't excessively large. But meets the need.
