I'm not sure I really got what I ordered. I really expected the Elk Antler to last at least a month but it was totally devoured in 2 hours. The dog loved it but, I think I need to make sure I get something tougher next time. It's too expensive to last only 2 hours. Based on other Elk Antlers I've had, it should have lasted much much longer.

The bone marrow is exposed on this bone so the dogs can easily get to it. This size was also too big for my morkie's mouth, so I recommend it for dogs 20lbs+. Because it was so big, he had to use his front teeth to gnaw at the marrow vs. being able to get it with his back molars.jThese dog treats are hard to find. They do last a long time. It could have been a bit bigger, but worth finding it. Should be sold in packages of two or three also.This was only a 1/4 split, not a half, so wasn't quite as described. My dog is a 28 lbs. Terrier mix and is a strong chewer. She could easily break off this antler into long pieces. I would not recommend this.This is a quality grade bone that lasts while being chewed during teething of a large puppy. It saved my table legs.
