Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We have two dogs, both Labrador mixes, and they devoured these things. Now, I will say that one of them (Riley) will eat anything. She probably didn't even taste it. However, Rex is very picky about his treats/bones. He was super into chewing these.

I saw another reviewer say these are messythey're no messier than any other rawhide/bones that I've given the dogs. And the filling didn't stain or leave marks on the floor after the dogs were finished. I had no clean up after. Then again, I'm very lucky that my dogs have OCD and do not ever leave me messes.

I definitely recommend this product! Their teeth look fresh and though they normally fly through bones, these actually kept them happy and busy for quite awhile:) Will be purchasing more when I'm finished with this pack!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have two golden retrievers who will eat just about anything (paper, dirt, stuffed animals...), so I was a little surprised that they weren't too thrilled with this product. They took them a little reluctantly, had a taste, and then kept looking around to see if I had something better. Very unusual! Of course, they did manage to eat them...

These chewies have a thick, hard, outer coat which might be too much for small dogs to handle. Inside is filled with pressed bits that got all over the carpet, up and down my dogs' paws, and clung to their chest fur. Since I don't want to have to vacuum and do major dog cleanup every time, I would not get these again.

Izzy, my mini schnauzer, likes just about everything. She loves treats, she loves grass in the yard, licking my son's toes, but she wasn't having anything to do with these congos. I tried getting her interested by playing with her, putting them on a plate like they were human food, taking her outside to play fetch, nothing. It's not the size because she usually loves to chew on things bigger than she is, we let her nom-nom awhile then put them in a baggie for another day. treat fail.

However, I do feel the company is trying to create healthy treats with the flax and omega, so I'm giving these a three for effort. Hopefully in the future they will come with something both healthy and appealing.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have a 60lb English Bulldog/German Shepherd mix who absolutely hates being groomed so I'm always on the lookout for treats to help reduce shedding and give him a nice healthy coat. Unfortunately, many doggie specialty treats are a bit on the pricey side if you want to give a daily helping. When these Fun Bites popped up on Amazon Vine I naturally snatched them up right away. Here are my thoughts;

Pros

+ My dog loved them.

+ Contains Flax Seed.

+ Low fat content.

+ Lasted about 20 minutes.

+ Resealable bag.

Cons

Extremely messy! Give this treat to your dog outside or on hardwood floors for easy or no clean up.

Contains filler/rawhide material.

Can leave a sticky residue.

Treats are too large for smaller dogs. Approximately 5" in length.

A bit pricey considering you only get four in a package.

My dog sure loved these Fun Bites (although he's not terribly picky about treats) and guards them quite aggressively (not always a good thing). Sadly, I don't know if he's getting any real skin and coat benefit from eating these treats. Better suited for larger dogs who are average chewers these treats were nice but I don't think I'd pay the asking price for them. The best thing about these treats were they occupied my dog long enough to properly groom him without him constantly trying to bite my hands!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have two dogs, one is an old, big dog named Bogie who really likes certain treats. He is very picky, but loves a good chew bone. The other dog, is Peanut, who loves bones, but never got special treats from her previous owners. I buy different types of chew bones for them on a regular basis.

Enter FunBites: When Bogie got his bone, he resembled a puppy and took a stance on the floor with his bottom in the air to relish and immediately devour his bone (which took him a while because the bones have a nice hard outer layer, and then some really tasty stuff inside). Peanut over-joyed at having a treat, carried hers around for two days, even growling at the cat when she came too close which she has never done before. Bogie finally saw his chance to take Peanut's bone when she left it for some reason. When Peanut returned to fetch her bone, Bogie high-tailed to find somewhere nice to eat his stolen booty. I gave the poor bewildered Peanut another bone which she again, is saving and carrying around like prescious cargo.

The story thickens, I have chickens and one of my chickens for some reason, likes to escape into the house whenever possible. Bogie seems to think that the chicken is after his bone and an all out fiasco errupted when Bogie growled and chased the chicken away from his tasty treat, for which I had to round the chicken up and put her back outside before she became chicken fricassee.

Needless to say that whatever good stuff they put in Funbites really has lived up to the name around my home. The bones also have flax which is exceedingly good, especially for Bogie.

Both dogs are acting like these things are the best stuff since steak! I swear, they get chew bones all the time and have have never acted this funny about any of the the ones I buy. As Bogie is eating his bone, the chicken is eyeing him, but it better not get too close. Peanut on the other hand, had better keep her new bone with her at all times, or Bogie is going to steal it again. Her trick of saving her bone and eating it when the time is right for her may not work with this bone. These are really great and I will definately keep them on-hand.
