I always like to try any treats that combine healthy benefits like probiotics or glucosamine/chondroitin etc. Always a great concept to try to get these into your dogs easily in the form of a tasty treat. I bough the Tummy and the Hip/Joint Cloud Star Functional Treats. My two dogs unfortunately did not find either of them to be a treat. I have ended up grinding them up into their dog food so they at least can benefit from the lactobacillus acidophilus, glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate in the "treats". Plus, absolutely vital that these treats are made in USA (I also will purchase dog foods made in Canada or New Zealand as well).

If your dogs find them tasty, go for it. Made in USA by a very reputable company like Cloud Star with the supplemental benefits offeredmake them a great goodie for your loved furry beasts-if they take to them. Too bad my picky dogs don't find them tasty.

I have a confession to make: I don't own a dog. However, I do have a lot of little doggy friends I puppysit on a weekly basis that will happily volunteer to test new treats and toys if it's for the betterment of caninekind. So when Swaggable gave me the chance to try Dynamo Dog Functional Treats (Hip & Joint Formula) for free, I didn't hesitate. Too many hopeful dog ears perked up waiting for my response.

Three weeks later, I received a plastic sample bag with five Cheese & Bacon flavored treats inside. The treats were soft to the touch and easy to cut in half. I immediately noticed the ingredients labeled prominently on the package and, the more I read, the more impressed I became.

Dynamo Dog Functional Treats (Hip & Joint Formula) are Grain Free, Gluten Free, and made with quality all-natural ingredients including: pork, chickpea flour, potato flour, tapioca starch, maple syrup, bacon, cheddar cheese, carrots, apples, spinach, cherries, sweet potatoes, cranberries, yucca, salmon oil, and even green-lipped mussel. They also contain Glucosamine HCL and Chondroitin Sulfate, which help relieve arthritis pain and restore cartilage.

My doggy volunteers -Ellie, a precocious Weimaraner, and Daisy, a basset hound who must've been a goat in a past life because she likes to climb on everything in the house -were super excited to get the taste test underway. They sniffed the air the minute I cut the sample packet open and crowded my legs eagerly in anticipation.

I gave them two treats each and they both gulped them down, barely taking the time to lick their chops before begging me for more.

Now I wouldn't be a very good reviewer, or pet lover, if I wasn't willing to try the treats myself... Yes, you read that right, I actually sliced the end off of one of the treats and ate it. I'm happy to say that it tasted quite good, much like beef jerky, and I didn't experience any ill effects or upset tummy afterwards.

Unfortunately, while I was preoccupied with my own personal taste test, Miss Daisy (the billy goat disguised as a basset hound) managed to climb up onto the counter and snag the last treat for herself -to poor Ellie's utter disappointment. So now I'm off to the store in search of more dynamic doggy goodness!

My 2 year old yorkie is ridiculously finicky. I've had him for 8 months and have tried about 30 different foods (a lot of small sample bags!). He hasn't liked any of them, he just hates some a little more than others :) I always had to trick him into eating; canned or rolled food as a topper, sprinkles of shredded cheese on the kibble, vita-gravy (which he won't touch), etc., etc. I most recently tried giving him a sample bag of this Halo small breed turkey, duck, and pheasant food, and it was instantly gone, like he was a little vacuum cleaner. I think it whet his appetite a bit because after he ate it all he walked away, but then came back and ate a kibble here and there of his old food. Not only can I not believe I have actually found THE food for the little guy, but I am thrilled that, after a lot of research, I found that I will be supporting the best dog food company around. Now to get rid of the 5 or so pounds that I have left over of his old food :(

My 14lb mutt loves this flavor, more than the chicken flavor. She's not a picky eater, but she hovers over her bowl after every meal. She didn't do that with the chicken, lamb, nor salmon.

I love this food. I been trying to find a food that my small picky dog would enjoy and also didnt contain all these fillers that my dog is allergic to. I used to give him blue buffalo but the fillers in that food made my dog itchy. Afterwards, I looked for a food that didnt contains fillers or chicken which my dog seems to be sensitive to, and I found Halo food. My dog loves this food and this food stopped his itching as well. This is the first time I got a dry food that my dog starts eating it before I even finished pouring it in a bowl. I believe the balanced omega acids in this food has improved my dog"s fur and skin which stopped his itching. The Kimble is also very small and easy for my dog to chew on although at times the Kimble is so small that some escape my dog's mouth. The food is also rich with protein so you really need to measure the proportions of food for your dog. I ended up giving him less amount of food than blue buffalo food since this food so rich with protein and I learned that protein rich foods for dogs can cause them to gain weight.

The main ingredients are real food. I read an article today about how Royal Canin dog food uses "Chicken...aggregate" which is actually feathers ground up and that it can't be absorbed into the dog's cells, and the main ingredient is "Corn starch", which is just a filler with no nutrition. THIS dog food has none of that, and to the contrary, has all great ingredients listed. Very healthy, and my little Maltese loves it, and he's gaining a little weight because he loves eating it.

Thanks to a combination of Hi-Tor Neo Diet and Vita Gravy (and the sub-q fluids prescribed by the vet) my cat, who was given a diagnosis of advanced kidney failure and a certain impending death sentence two months ago, has amazed my vet and everyone in the vet's office. My cat has had a poor appetite for months, which was explained recently by a diagnosis of chronic renal failure. I dreaded the prospect of trying to switch him to an even less appetizing food than what he was currently refusing to eat. Well, rats. I finally found a renal cat food that my cat likes, and they change the formula!! To defend her pickiness, Sabrina has had renal disease for 6.5 years. My cat has renal disease and has been on Hill's k/d dry and canned food for over a year. Recently she was getting picky about eating and not wanting the either type of the canned k/d. Based on the Amazon reviews, I ordered the Hi-Tor Neo Diet hoping that she would love it. At first she did love it (something new/different I think), but now she is very ambivalent towards it and lately has preferred the k/d. Perhaps it is due simply to her personality or perhaps it is due to her stage of renal disease, but I have not seen any difference between k/d and the Hi-Tor Neo. Other than the renal disease, she doesn't have any health issues and is still pretty frisky for being 16 years old.

Finally! My cat had been eating k/d diet both wet and dry for years. Suddenly she lost interest in the canned and I was forced to add sardines to it. Sort of defeats the purpose of limiting the protein doesn't it? Well, I was heartsick because already thin to begin with, she wasn't eating enough to gain weight. She would just sit and stare at her bowl. In desperation, I knew I had to find a better food, so I read the reviews here and ordered a case and voila! She eats it without sauce or sardines. She can't get enough of it. I had to order another case. So now she's eating one can a day which is good. Though I wish they would make this in a dry too, so she could nibble through the night. She won't even touch the dry anymore! And we all know what a wet diet can do to the teeth. I highly recommend a dental treat such as enzadent oral chews and a daily cleaning or adding a dental additive to the water. But I shouldn't complain, she's eating and that's what I wanted. Anyway, I don't know what they put in this food, but my cat sure likes it and thanks to it, she's going to be around for a long time still!

This is my first antler purchase and my dog loves it. Problem is she took it outside and buried it somewhere so now I've ordered more and will make sure she keeps it inside! She's about 10 pounds and it's a good size but the medium size is a little better for her.

Our dogs appear to like these better than deer antlers. My speculation is that the "marrow" portion is larger compared to the deer antler for the same "size" of the antler (small, medium, large). The elk antlers also seems to be slightly cheaper. Overall very satisfied.

My dog is a corgi, which is not a large dog, but this antler is too small for him. I'm afraid he could choke on it. Perhaps it is my fault for ordering a size for a smaller dog, but I would have appreciated the seller giving some sort of size guide. They did tell me what size the antler was, but I think they should say something like "ideal for toy breeds." Purina Busy Bone Chewbone Treats - 10ct

I'll apologize in advance for the length of this review, but it's more of a story than a review.

After adopting a five-year-old Golden Retriever last year, I had to spend a few hundred dollars to have her teeth professionally cleaned. She had a lot of staining on her front teeth and canines and a lot of hard calculus on her large premolars. (See image I posted above for reference.) The vet had to remove one of her large bottom premolars due to the amount of decay. After the surgery, I committed to brushing her teeth two to three times per week, but that wasn't enough. The tartar and calculus came back within months. I began to get concerned that I'd have to get her teeth cleaned again and they'd have to (eventually) remove her other large, bottom premolar. (Imagine a dog without its bottom premolars!) Despite my rigorous brushing, the calculus would not come off. Going against the advice of many vets, I BBQ'd a slab of beef ribs and let her chew on them, but she refused to gnaw on them. She'd remove the meat and leave the bone. I then went to the pet store and spent about $20 on an assortment of chewable bones in hopes one of them would do the trick. The first one I gave her was the Purina Busy Bone. She went right at it and consumed almost the whole thing within 20 minutes. I let her consume the rest of it the following day, but didn't expect to see a difference so fast, so I didn't inspect her teeth immediately. A couple days later while brushing her teeth, I couldn't believe how much of the calculus was gone. I was so relieved that I wouldn't have to get her teeth professionally cleaned again and that I'd found something safe and effective to keep her tartar and calculus at bay. I committed to buying several of these while they were on sale.

The only downside to these Busy Bones is that they get really sticky when wet. Your dog's paws and legs WILL be sticky after chewing on one of these, so be prepared. Either let them do it outside or plan on wiping their legs afterwards. (It's a small price to pay, though.)

I really feel for the guy with the corgi whose dog almost choked when the Busy Bone became lodged (see review titled, "Dangerous Choking Hazard"). As a result, I will certainly monitor my dog while she's chewing on these in the future.

This is the largest quantity and price per piece that I have been able to find. Not even the pet stores or whole sale catalogs have so far been able to match this. I love these bones because they last longer then most of the compressed non raw hide chew bones. The drawback is that most stores sell them for about 3 to 3.50 a piece.

My lab mix is about 45 pounds, not an aggressive chewer at all. She loves these, and they last awhile keeping her busy. My bully breed is 85 pounds, and he has jaws of steel. He bites off chunks of these and just chews them up like dog food. His lasted less than 10 minutes. He did throw it around a bit tossing it in the air, before eating it...Definitely a good product just not for big dogs who are aggressive chewers.

Our dog Chewy ate the first one, but the second one we gave him a few days later he walked around the house with it for hours, then went outside and tried to bury it. We have an 8 month old 70lb shepherd mix who has destroyed a plastic sided dog crate, bent the bars of a steel crate with his jaws, has destroyed every plush toy within 2 minutes, shredded ropes, and whittled down nylabones. He is definitely an aggressive chewer with considerable jaw strength. We are 2 weeks into this toy with no visible damage.

Pros: 2 sizes of holes enable you to load a variety of treats we dump in a handful of dog food for a quick distraction, or chunks of treats and rattle them into the closed sections when it's crate time. Food comes out with relative ease, toy is easy to clean, and it's shape is good for random bouncing.

Cons: priced slightly higher than comparable kong toys. Our dog has managed to tear chunks off of 2 out of 3 similar kong toys after about 2-3 weeks of use, but all are still usable. If priced identical to similar kong toy, I would recommend the bionic...but if price stays higher (was considerably higher when we bought it), I would happily take a kong.

Overall: great toy, excellent durability for an aggressive chewer.

I love the fact that they are moist and soft, easily broken into even smaller nibbles (intact they are about as tall as a quarter, but not so wide), so the dogs can get a tasty morsel without eating a whole treat, and tiny dogs can enjoy them too. When I open the treat bag at the dog park all the dogs come running. The gingerbread man style shape is very cute though obviously the dogs don't care. The duck flavor is very hard to find locally. Amazon's prices are very reasonable and I'm glad not to have to chase these down. Cloud Star also makes crunchy treats that resemble these as well. My dog and her friends love all of them.

Oh, and unlike cutting up Red Barn or Natural Balance sausage rolls for treats (which are wonderful too), these guys don't spoil after a day or two. They are shelf stable. Very handy to keep in the car.

This bag is great for my maltipoo puppy and as he's growing, it still has plenty of room for him to lay comfortably. He will get up to about 10 pounds at the most and I have a feeling this bag might actually last. It's a little bulky but I guess that's part of the deal when trying to find a bag your pet can comfortably fit in. I bought Pet Kiss for my aging cat (she's nearly 19), who has kidney disease and can't get her teeth cleaned by the vet any more. I wanted something that was completely natural no chemicals, preservatives, dyes, flavorings, alcohol, etc. to stress her kidneys. Pet Kiss fits the bill! She's very picky, but didn't even notice when I added it to her water. The one problem I had was that, if the water in the dish sits for a couple of days, it will grow mold or bacteria (no preservatives). So I would make up a quart of water (or a gallon) in advance and store it in the fridge. Then I'd completely change her water and wash out the dish every couple of days. This solved the problem, but there are no directions to refrigerate the treated water after it's made up, or to change the water completely every day or so. My cat's teeth and gums seem to be healthy, and her breath has improved.

I am very pleased with the results of this product. I purchased a small sample of this (8 Fluid Oz.) and found that the plaque and tartar were easily removed from my dog's teeth by the normal action of treats such as Del Monte Pet Product's Meaty Bone treats. I have been giving this supplement to my dog for over a year now, adding it to her water as recommended. It is all natural and taste and smell free, so she doesn't mind it at all. I have noticed that it is necessary to clean her water bowl at least once weekly to get rid of a tendency to "scum", but that's a good practice anyway. I wish I had found this product years ago I could have saved several of my good companions and friends from having to go through the procedure of having to have the plaque and tartar scraped from their teeth, not to mention the trama to them of being anesthetized. I recommend starting with the small 8 oz container and then refilling it from the 16 oz or gallon size.

I have a 7lb Japanese Chin dog. They're a smooshed face breed similar to pekinese. Anyone who's been the parent of one knows that they're teeth are small, their mouths are crowded and the short nasal passage lends itself to killer breath. When I adopted my Chin he already had really bad teeth at 10 months old. His gums started bleeding and I spent close to $300 on a dental cleaning. That helped tremendously but had to be constantly followed up with brushings. Because of Griffin's tiny mouth it was impossible to get a tooth brush in there, and I could never clean them effectively. I didn't really expect it to work, but I'm a sucker for "goodies" for my three babies. Wonder of wonders, it works like a charm. I couldn't believe it. I've only been using it for about a month now and the tartar build up on their teeth is gone. I started out with an 8 oz bottle but am buying the gallon. It's so rare to find a product that actually accomplishes what it claims. I wish I could tell everyone about this stuff!

I cannot rate this product since my cat simply refused to drink the water mixture. I followed the directions of water to solution, and even tried diluting it even more so. This product is advertised to be tasteless and odorless, but there is SOMETHING about this additive my kitty turns her nose up at! I purchased the 8 oz size, and sure am glad I didn't buy the gallon size!

My Shih tzu mix loves the food. She seems to tolerate it well, though it took a few days of adjustment for her. Great size for her small teeth and mouth. Good value.

I love it because my dog loves it. I have a 14 lb long haired dachshund who is quite particular about what he eats. Well, he eats this! Yeah! And, at last vet check-up, he was reported to be healthy. So I guess it's good for him too. Sometimes I mix it with a little homemade chicken broth and it gets a little soggy or he can eat it plain and it's crunchy... YUM

My dogs love pedigree. These smaller bites are perfect for my Pomeranian mix dog. She's very picky, but really likes this brand of dog food. She will eat this dry and most other foods she rejects unless I mix in soft food.

The price here is comparable to Petsmart and I don't have to haul the bag. Nice!

I knock it only because while it is moderately healthy, there are better choices as far as ingredients. I would give it 4.5 stars

I would not buy. I bought a jar from Petedge. The label says "Hazardous to domestic Animals" The ingredients listed "Other ingredients 22% not disclosed!!! I spoke with their customer specialist and she would not disclose the ingredients, she said "They are safe" Would you buy food for you to eat where you do not know the ingredients, all they tell you is "It is safe" There are many ingredients considered safe that I personally would not eat or give to my pets.

This product is great! I love that you can use it safely along with Frontline or Advantix. It successfully got rid of the fleas on my dog and cat and in my home. I also used it to treat and prevent further issues with mites on my outdoor pet pigeons. Great product!

My dogs love the tendons but these are very thin and they can eat them in a short amount of time. While they are cheaper than what I can buy locally, they are also about 1/3 as thick. I would not reorder these. They are good if you have small dogs but my Vizslas chew them in short order :-)
