This is my first antler purchase and my dog loves it. Problem is she took it outside and buried it somewhere so now I've ordered more and will make sure she keeps it inside! She's about 10 pounds and it's a good size but the medium size is a little better for her.

UPDATE: I feel compelled to update my review. I ordered three more pieces and they were smaller and weighed less than indicated in the product description. Amazon responded to and handled my complaint immediately but I am hesitant to reorder because all three pieces were less than expected. Will probably buy them In a pet store now where I can pick and choose the pieces.

Our dog, (beagle mix) loved it but devoured it in a matter of hours. It also gave her terrible gas. Beware! if your dog is a heavy chewer this antler is too soft to last long.

Our dogs appear to like these better than deer antlers. My speculation is that the "marrow" portion is larger compared to the deer antler for the same "size" of the antler (small, medium, large). The elk antlers also seems to be slightly cheaper. Overall very satisfied.

My dog is a corgi, which is not a large dog, but this antler is too small for him. I'm afraid he could choke on it. Perhaps it is my fault for ordering a size for a smaller dog, but I would have appreciated the seller giving some sort of size guide. They did tell me what size the antler was, but I think they should say something like "ideal for toy breeds." I have purchased other products from Barkworthies and had no problem at all, so I'm chalking this one up to my mistake.
