I have an old dog with cushings disease who has developed disc problems in her spine. Because of the cushings she is not a candidate for surgery or any medicine that would normally be given to a dog with this condition. The orthopedic vet told me not to walk her or allow her to do stairs for a while to see if the rest would help her. This is a rescue dog who, without exception has had at least one walk (most days, two) every day of our lives together. In addition, I have a second younger dog who expects a daily walk. I really could not fathom relegating the old girl to the back yard for the rest of her days. So I spent a lot of time looking at a lot of dog strollers. I picked this one because (1) it is low to the ground and I expect resembles the perspective she had when she was wallking and, most importantly (2) it does not look like a baby stroller -I wanted my neighbors to understand that I was not confused that my dog was not a dog, but a baby. I've been pleased with this. My dog seems to like it (I was not sure whether she would or not). It's well made and has enough places to put things when you go for a stroll. Plus I am tethering my second dog to the stroller so she gets the benefit of getting out as well. It can be disassembled to put it away if you need room but that's a lot of trouble. (That's why I gave it four stars instead of five.) I just keep it "as is" in a spare room and roll it out when the time comes. It has solved a big problem for me and I have had a lot of neighbors tell me that they think it is really cute. i got this from a friend for free and was used only a couple times. i was going to buy one but with two dogs id have to buy a big one big one or two smaller ones. i have two maltipoos one 10 pounds and the other 13 pounds. they love this stroller. its great for taking them to the vet and road trips incase they get tired of walking. the stroller come with a stroller frame that folds down and a carrier with one half covered and the other half is made with a tough net to let in fresh air. both of my dog fit comfortably and with room to spare. the bad part of the carriers is that it does not fold down. you would have to take it apart, but the carriers its durable and its also machine washable. which is good. the carrier has two pockets in the back which is good and fit leashes, harnesses, bags, and peewee pads. it also has another pocket which is long. i put a thick blanket at the bottom of the carrier because it doesn't have padding or my friend may have lost it, but either way it nothing a blanket cant solve. i will post some pics of the stroller.Want Fresh Air Pet Stroller, Blue Discount?
This has as been good so far (first day). My dog is small but he packs the pounds (20 lbs), and this thing is solid and sturdy enough for him to sit in and feel comfortable. I'm always worried the other strollers will collapse at the bottom, but then again, I've never owned other strollers. This is spacious enough for him to lay in. He looks happy riding in it :) Easy to maneuver. I'm hoping that it lasts, esp the zipper portion as we do zip/unzip often.

Our lab mix is a very ambitious chewer forget retrieving... he seems to think his "job" in life is to destroy things with his teeth. He's very methodical about it; he'll chew and chew and chew, targeting the object's weakest points, until all that remains is a littering of coin-sized remnants. I purchased this box after acquiring a second cat. I already had a box in the bathroom for my older boy and needed something that can blend in well with my living space without looking too obvious as a litter box. This chest/hidden litter box fit those criteria perfectly. First of all, it looks identical to the pictures you see on-line. Some people commented on how the box could have been bigger, but I do not think that it's too small for a grown cat. With the divider inside, it fits a standard litter box just fine, which is the very box my cats were using before this purchase. The height is appropriate as well. My oldest weighs 11 lbs and he fits into the chest without difficulties. My biggest concern was quality of this item. I have high-end furniture in my home and was worried that this box would stand out too much (defeating its purpose) if it was poorly made. I do agree that it's not made with high-end craftsmanship, but there are no obvious flaws either. My box was evenly stained and looks great. There were some small chips in espresso finish on the edge of the lid... an easy fix with a stain marker. One thing I did not fully appreciate before purchasing this product is the interior height. Yes, the product description does state that it's 14.2". This is a full 2" shorter than our standard cat litter box with a dome top. We have a large 15lb cat who stands at about 14" tall. So, when you've got a bed of cat litter that's a few inches in depth, your cat might be crouching inside the box. I hope this won't be a problem.... I thought I'd post this just to give others something to consider. Cons: My cat is about 17 pounds so... although she can fit in the hole and do her business, I have to keep the lid up about 5 inches. Like another reviewer I purchased this box to use in a guest bedroom. My three cats took to it right away with no hesitation, in fact they all had fun checking out their new box as we assembled it. The door openings are large enough to accomodate my large male cat and although we can no longer use our extra large pan, the cats have no issue with using a smaller one that fits perfectly inside. There is even a convenient hook inside the door for storing the scoop. The offset doors keep our dogs from poking their heads in and also has dramatically decreased the amount of litter that gets tracked out. We are considering installing a little hook on the lid to keep the dogs from lifting the lid. I also want to mention that although it looks like a bench, it is not meant for a person to sit on, it makes a great place for a cat bed though! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a cat, it fits in nicely with my decor and in no way looks like a catbox at first glance. It comes packaged very well with each piece wrapped to keep it from being scratched. Assembly was simple and the instructions were the best we have seen.

Our golden retriever loves this and, as others have reported, enjoys carrying the animals around the house after removing them. This is a cute, soft, cuddy toy which will, no doubt, entertain dogs without much interest in chewing (or lack the teeth to do so). However, our sweet little miniature dachshund (A) removed all three "squirrels" (they're really chipmunks and very cute) within less than 5 seconds the first time out of the box. Game over. Tree stump irrelevant. Within 15 minutes the three luckless chipmunks were in need of major surgery. Sadly, they are all deceased. The squeakers, like those in almost every dog toy of this type, are cheap, poorly inserted, and inadequately protected from anything but a toothless animal. The seams holding these cuties together are easily ripped open, spilling little chipmunk guts all over the carpet and leaving the "squeaker" for your pet to pick up and choke on! If this toy was for children, it would require a danger warning label. All-in-all it looks cute, but unless your dog is toothless and passive, look for another, better made toy. Amazon is doing no one, including the toy maker, any favors by including this poorly made item under the heading "for aggressive chewers." It is most definitely not! Ceilie is our 14 year old black lab/springer spaniel mix who is feeling her years! We started giving her these tablets once a day and she seemed to love them for the first week. Do not purchase this item. Because of the inferior material used to construct the item, my dog damaged the item immediately. Because it's damaged, the seller will not take return with refund! I've purchased many Nina Ottoson interactive dog toys, as well as others at least 10. He's very familiar with the concept of moving pegs for treats and has never destroyed an interactive toy or any toy where he has to work with the toy for treats. This dog puzzle is constructed with inferior material (glued together saw dust more fragile than particle board). Had I seen it in a store, I NEVER would have purchased it. The material chipped the first time my dog used it...I mean his first attempt to move the dowels. The dowels pull right out of the large openings once the glued together saw dust is moist from his mouth no need for him to slide them into place to retrieve the treats, he just lifts them out. The material literally bends when moist and takes no effort to pull the dowel out of the toy. Shame on this seller for selling such inferior items which the buyer cannot evaluate prior to purchasing. I have two terriers and a poodle mix, all between 12-17lbs. The terriers quickly learned to play with a Kong, and thoroughly enjoy games in which they have to find hidden treats (the poodle gives up after about 5 minutes!). Even when I freeze Kongs with peanut butter inside, it's become less of a challenge for them lately. I'd always wanted them to try one of these interactive puzzle toys, but they're so expensive, I didn't think I could justify buying one if they didn't like it. This toy, though, was in the perfect price point, and is a good starter for them. The material is lightweight but durable, and is perfect for my dogs not too heavy for their smaller mouths, and just challenging enough to keep them interested but not frustrated. I do recommend using a rounder treat in each hole, as I had used flat, square treats the first time and they got lodged in the holes when the dogs licked them out. I was also told that this treat can be made more challenging by putting a lightweight tape over the pegs to make it harder to remove them. Please keep in mind, do not leave your dog alone with this unless you know they aren't going to chew it! When dogs become frustrated, they often will chew toys like this to get the treats out instead of figuring out the puzzle. This toy probably is much better for smaller dogs. I have an English bulldog puppy that loves this stuff. However, the Amazon price is simply way too high. I bought a 15 lb bag at a local pet store the other day for $28 (that includes tax and everything). They are currently selling the product (on May 5, 2012) after the recall was announced. An explanation is in order, please.My Miniature Schnauzer was having lots of health issues and had "Schnauzer Bumps", but we didn't know what was wrong with her. After doing research online, we decided to try her on a grain-free diet and she is doing great now. Before her skin was hot, dry, itchy and covered with bumps. Now she feels good, looks good and her skin is clear and smooth. Thank you Taste of the Wild. My only wish is that you would offer some treats. But to solve that problem, we buy two flavors of the food and fill her bowl with one flavor and give the other one to her for a treat. And since they taste different, she is happy and so are we. We buy the Salmon and the Fowl flavors and alternate them as her food and treats periodically. Just a note, the other thing that we did for our dog was to also change her shampoo to the Nootie brand of Aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo in Cucumber and Melon fragrance (sold by Amazon also). It's natural, works and smells great and even our groomer buys it to use and says that our dog's skin has improved 100%.We LOVE this kibble. It's the only one that my 3 year-old very finicky cockapoo will eat, time after time, without fail. Because he has a sensitive stomach and is allergic to chicken, beef and lamb, we primarily feed him raw rabbit and venison. To add variety to his diet, however, I give him this, and he absolutely LOVES it. I'm amazed every time he finishes his bowl as he rarely eats like anything dry. Best things about this food -my dog LOVES the taste, it's grain-free, and is full of high-quality ingredients. Lastly, there's never any loose stool or diarrhea, his coat is shiny, and he's full of energy. You can't go wrong with this food. Definitely give it a try!

Wellness canned cat food is the only higher quality wet food my cats will eat. They like cheaper foods, but once I read that giving them that type of food every day was like me eating fast food burgers every day, I decided to bump up their nutritional intake. I found Wellness brand while searching for a food for my dog with a super-sensitive stomach. When we adopted a cat, it only made sense to try the same brand. My cat has had no intestinal issues and rarely throws up her food (from eating too much too fast). My 13 yr old 45 lb Cattle dog had terrible arthritis in his front legs and had blown out both his back knees and had surgery on them years earlier. He was on both Tramadol for pain and Carprofen for inflammation at this point. We were giving him 1 move free every day which had made a huge difference when we started it years ago. He wasn't ready to stop so when someone in Vet assistant school told me about this I figured we didn't have anything to lose. I gave him one with his food each morning and night and after just a few days there was an amazing difference. He appeared to have dropped several years by the way he moved. This helped him be a happy dog that could keep watch over his big yard and still go for short walks for the last year of his life. My dog liked the way these taste so for him it was like getting a treat. If I was careful I could even use it to tuck the pain pill in so it helped in that regard too.
