I have large German Shepherds with sensitive tummies who are also fussy eaters. Outside of a RAW diet, Wellness CORE, canned and kibble, is the ONLY food I will feed them. Grain free with human grade meats, no fillers or meat by-products, CORE has helped stabilize their digestive systems, control their weight, and minimizes the size of their stools (highly digestible content means less output gross, but those with big dogs will understand!) The 95% canned meats are also great mixed with kibble as an occasional treat (expensive per can) and I am looking forward to trying the new canned stew products. My three cats are also Wellness Heathy Indoor Cats kibble fans though they won't touch the canned products. These rawhide chews suck. My german shepherd normally has rawhide chews before with no problem. I bought 2 bags thinking that these big bones would last. These bones for their size only last on average 3 hours. But the worst part is that these rawhide bones gave my dog loose poop and made him fart. Stopped the bones and his poop became normal and no more stinky farts. The thing I notice that is these rawhide bones have a funky smell to them. The old rawhide bones I used to buy from Petco do not have any smell and it looked cleaner. And plus the bones lasted about a day and a half and they were 3/4 the size. I didn't know these were Chinese made bones until I got the package and the bag says they were made in China. I'm outraged that I got sold these low quality Chinese made bones. I was attracted to the low price. They need to include a the country of origin in their description. Obviously a country that poisons toothpaste and baby formula for humans wouldn't care for products made for people. Avoid this product. My dog loves rawhide bones but he won't be getting to these. Bigger than expected. Good because they do not shred like other rawhide chews. Dog does not destroy bone as quickly.

I must admit that I didn't really expect the DentaStix to do wonders for my 13-14 yr. old Bearded Collie/Sheepdog mix, but I couldn't have been more wrong! He hates having his teeth cleaned, and his breath will literally knock you over on a bad day. : )

I got this for my 20 pound mixed breed dog from Meijer grocery store. I filled it with cat food and it turned out to be a nice little toy. It is small (only holds about 1/4 cup or less of food) and smells slightly rubbery--ours is light blue in color. The holes at each end have 4 rubber prongs across them to make it more difficult to get the food out. I am using this toy inside a Kong Wobbler to make it more difficult for the dog to get the kibble out. It's an excellent product for that. I have no reason to believe this isn't a wonderful chew toy, and I had hoped to use it to freeze food inside for a cool treat but it's small enough I didn't bother asking my dogs to test its strength. I have a tape measure and know how to use it so you'd think I wouldn't be surprised at the size of a product when it arrives, but the item IS smaller than I had envisioned it would be. Hey there, my dog seemed to think these were just "okay." She did not go crazy for them. I ended up returning them because they left red flakes all over my carpet. I could not imagine going through the whole bag. My pup is 11 pounds, so maybe a bigger dog would eat them faster and wouldn't leave as many flakes around. According to my 2 dogs, these are the best. They usually chew them up pretty quickly, so they're not designed to be a long-lasting chew, but there's very little mess (they eat it all up right away).
