I absolutely love these. I have a 15 lb mini aussie who is notorious for devouring things that should take him days or weeks to chew through in a matter of a couple hours. I decided to try these after trying a different dental bone that lasted 2 days. These looked harder, so I had high hopes.
It took about 5 minutes to get him started chewing on the bone, I'm not sure if it didn't smell like food or if he was just unsure about the density, but after that he was hooked. He chews on it quite often, but it's lasted 2 weeks and he's still got about 1/3 of the first one left.
The best part about these are that they REALLY freshened his breath. He's always had a breath problem, it just stinks! But these bones have made it perfectly tolerable. They've also cleaned his teeth, although not as much as I'd hoped (hence the 4 star rating instead of 5) however, I do not expect a bone to take up all the slack in hygiene, so I am quite content letting it freshen his breath and still getting his teeth cleaned regularly.My dogs love these treats but at the retail dog places they are very expensive. Once again order from Amazon, get what you want delivered when you need it at an equilivant or cheaper price.
