We have two smaller dogs, 13 and 14 pounds. They both loved to chew on these bones. They would chew for hours--until there was nothing left! Then one day one of them got sick. Within 36 hours he was gone! We are devastated! A piece of nylabone broke off and lodged in his intestine. It did not show up on X-Rays since it is a plastic substance. Nylabones last my dogs (pit bulls) a long time. They're not messy and are easy to clean. This style of bone is very simple and Amazon sells them much cheaper than the pet stores.

Been using these for years with our golden retrievers. They love all of the flavors and really seem to enjoy grinding their teeth on the ends of the bone. We have to throw them away once the ends have been gnawed off because the bone become dangerously sharp.

I originally bought the Zuke's Treats for Cats on Amazon.com. It arrived in a decent amount of time (I didn't expect it to be quick since I used the free shipping). My cat thought they were just okay, and would eat them if i put them in front of her, but not come running as she does for her other treats. So I would leave them out for her in her dish, and they would get hard real quick. After maybe eating 5-20 of the little pieces total, she stopped eating them altogether, and walked AWAY when i got out the treats.

Then I went to Petco after adopting a puppy, and Petco convinced me they would be perfect for training so i got the ones for dogs. I thought maybe the shipping made them stale, and Petco assured me the ones for dogs were of better quality. Unfortunately this was not the case, my dog who eats shoes, and ANYTHING else that's on the floor does not want to eat these. I mean they are okay but barely okay. When I take her on walks and use them to redirect her attention and they are hard by the time we get home from our walk, and she will spit out over half of them on the sidewalk. So if your pet likes hard food then they might like them (and they are real ingredients,) but if your pet is like mine, they wont touch them. I now have two barely opened packages of this stuff that just sits under my cupboard.

My Mommy let me write my own review about Zuke's Natural Purrz. It's absolutely purr-fect! Mommy found Natural Purrz at her local co-op. When I smelled the bag, I got excited! When she popped one into my mouth, I wuz in love!

I have the fussiest pooch you can imagine. She's a very pampered little bichon that's 9 lbs soaking wet. She will have nothing to do with any of the holistic varieties of canned dog food and she didn't really eat some of the other holistic dry types I bought. Although she really seemed to like the Ultra, I shopped around for other AAFCO approved holistic brands for her to try so she might have some variety. Each time I put half a portion of Ultra in her dish and half a portion of another variety, Ultra was still the favorite, leaving Buffalo Blue and others in the dust. The pieces are small enough for her dainty little mouth and although there is no variety of flavors, she doesn't seem to care. Of course, a little chicken or cheese helps, too. I've also done some research on the types of ingredients to look for as well as the ones to avoid and I'm quite satisfied that this is a quality, holistic product.

My dogs (2 Dachshunds, a Chihuahua and French Bulldog) LOVE RedBarn Beef Dog Food Roll. And I love feeding it to them and here's why:

1) It is MADE IN THE USA and contains NO corn or soy. The Lamb and Rice flavor is wheat free as well. Dogs can have or develop allergies to corn, soy or wheat.

2) It is cooked in the casing for less nutrient loss and specially prepared and packaged without oxygen so that it will remain fresh at room temperature without the use of artificial preservatives such as BHA, BHT or Ethoxyquin.

3) It is 93% digestible which means less dog poo and fewer cleanups.

4) It is a complete and balanced meal, but it can also serve as a protein supplement when mixed with dry food.

These Tyson chews are pressed and processed so they are all the same shape and size. The original photo in the eBay auction showed chews that resembled the Waggon Train Chicken Jerky chews that have been taken off the market. Those Waggon Train chews were different sizes and shapes and a much lighter color. My dog really liked those Waggon Train chews because they were so much like real chicken jerky. I bought these chews, thinking that they were the same as the ones no longer available. But these Tyson Chews are different. I would have been REALLY disappointed, except that my dog likes these chews, so they're an OK substitute. BTW, the current eBay auction photo shows the product with the current chews that are in the package. They changed the photo. I had printed off the original web page that shows a different product inside the package.

These are healthy treats, not intended to be a large part of a dog's diet. The ingredients of most of the Wet Noses products are all good for dogs. NOT included are wheat and corn, which some dogs react poorly to, and which may be contaminated, especially if imported.

We have a 12 year old Akita dog that has developed food-related allergies and intolerance as she has gotten older. Akitas as a breed are also more sensitive to chemicals. For this reason, we're very selective about what dog food and dog treats we buy. Wet Noses is one of the few dog treat lines which meets all our requirements, and our dog LOVES these treats! Wet Noses uses all organic ingredients and stays away from ingredients such as corn, wheat and soy to which dogs are more likely to be allergic. Every ingredient appears to have been selected to give exceptional nutrition for the money and for the calories it provides. We bought the sweet potato treat, a flavor dogs seem to love but which is rarely found in commercial dog food. (Before we found this line of dog treats, we used to add pieces of sweet potato to our dog's regular commercial dog food.) We were also impressed that Wet Noses uses quality ingredients such as rye flour, turmeric, sesame paste, cumin and cinnamon. These treats are both healthy and high quality. They contain no wheat, which is a definite plus. The dogs like them enough, but aren't crazy about them dry. What I usually do is mix them with yogurt and other coordinating ingredients (applesauce for apple flavor, canned pumpkin for pumpkin flavor)and use as a Kong stuffing. They gobble them up that way.
