I have the fussiest pooch you can imagine. She's a very pampered little bichon that's 9 lbs soaking wet. She will have nothing to do with any of the holistic varieties of canned dog food and she didn't really eat some of the other holistic dry types I bought. Although she really seemed to like the Ultra, I shopped around for other AAFCO approved holistic brands for her to try so she might have some variety. Each time I put half a portion of Ultra in her dish and half a portion of another variety, Ultra was still the favorite, leaving Buffalo Blue and others in the dust. The pieces are small enough for her dainty little mouth and although there is no variety of flavors, she doesn't seem to care. Of course, a little chicken or cheese helps, too. I've also done some research on the types of ingredients to look for as well as the ones to avoid and I'm quite satisfied that this is a quality, holistic product.
