Out 12 year old Lab was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer and was not getting around very well. She was expected from her ability to get around to have a week left in her before she would either give up and let us know it was time. given that i take supplements myself, i thought what the hey, why not, as i was trying to spoil her with treats as best I could and these just happened to be in a flavor she liked (next day shipping helps too from Prime). She inhaled the things, so they have to taste good (smell good to me).
Odd thing was, she started moving around a bit, still favoring the leg with teh tumor. But moving around like she hadent in years. She still had visible discomfort, but was moving and eating just fine for a few months more than expected, when she slowed down and we knew it was time.
I like to think that these helped ease the rest of her troubles (along with all the extra pampering) and gave us all a bit more time together.

I ordered these last week and got them when promised. I also got the bag in stead of the bucket but that is the least of my worries. I have a 16 year old shepard/elkhound mix and has been having trouble with his hips and joints for a while now. I was buying his joint meds from Walmart and went back to get more and find out they don't sell it there anymore. I decided to look here on Amazon, I found them and also noticed these biskets and thought they were a better option and I was right. He is getting better and seems to like them. I just bought 2 more packs. Oh as for the bucket, I already have a container for dog treats. That's what he thinks they are, treats and so much easier to get down him.

Lobo has been on these for more than a month now and there has been a big improvement. He is getting around so much better especially when getting up off the floor or going up and down stairs. I glad because I thought we were gonna have to put him down but now we don't have to. I will post another update on his progress in a few months.

Just an FYI these dog biscuits do not come in a tub as pictures, but in a bag. They are about the size of a large milk-bone and my dog enjoys them about the same. Not her favorite treat, but definitely one she will eat!
I think calling them a wafer is a bit misleading, they are just a regular dog biscuit, not saying that's a bad thing, I just think of things like vanilla wafers (for humans) as a wafer.

I was hesitant that these would work. Our dog hates pills and can find a pill in any type of food, even when it is crushed and poured over here food.
We have tried a few different types of bones with glucosamine and she refused to eat any of them. We started with the Greenies. She wouldn't have it. These are the only ones she will eat!
We live in an downstairs basement apartment and our dog is a 80lb black lab/akita/? mix. She is about 11yrs old (adopted from the Humane Society) and we could tell the stairs have been bothering her. We bring her in at night to mingle with the family and keep her warm. We didn't want her to have to stay outside 24/7, but she couldn't keep going up/down the stairs.
These bones work great! We can see the difference. I don't know if the glucosamine pills would work even better, but that isn't as convenient (I have to pry her jaw open and force her to swallow) so these bones really saved us!

My 8 year old rotti/shep furbaby is feeling better already and its been 2 weeks If your dog is over 8 I would look for one for senior dogs
