I've used freeze dried krill in the past for my old reef setup. The brand I had before smelled exactly the same as frozen or fresh krill once rehydrated -it almost had no smell. These krill, however, smell disgusting and look disgusting. That being said, my puffer fish survived for over a week being fed these with an automatic feeder while I was away, so I guess I can't complain too much. I will definitely use another brand in the future however.

I have a Jack Russell and each summer she goes through a four to six week scratching spree. It is maddening. Throughout the daytime and throughout the night she scratches away and she skin becomes a bright tomato red. I usually end up taking her to the vet, but this summer I wanted to try other products that might help her.

One vet told me her condition was due to allergies and another told me it was due to a skin bacteria. Thinking it was more likely she had allergies, I started with 8 in 1 Excel Allergy Relief for Dogs, 36 Count Bottle and they worked for a couple of days. Her redness went down but that was she became too sleepy to scratch. After a week, the effects wore off entirely and the pills have no impact on her. I moved on to Sergeant's Vetscription 8-Ounce Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo.

The active ingredient in this shampoo is Benzalkonium Chloride. No other ingredients are listed. I have a couple of other products by this manufacturer and I've found ingredient disclosure to be somewhat limiting.

I wasn't entirely happy with this product. My dog's redness went down a little for a few hours and she was scratching up a storm by the next day. I bathed her again and she was content for four hours and then scratching all over. While bathing your dog each day is not recommended by most vets, I've been giving my dog a bath every day and have also been using Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Hydrocortisone Spray Dog and Cat. The bathing and the hydrocortisone spray seem to be helping.

I live in the midwest and would note for budget shoppers that I found this antimicrobial shampoo at my local grocer for 5.25 and the Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Hydrocortisone Spray Dog and Cat for 4.25 at my local Dollar General. Through my research of products, I've seen that many individuals turn to benadene. I've seen Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Benadene Hot Spot Skin Remedy Dog at Dollar General for 3.25. So before spending a bundle on products, you might see if there is a suitable product during your trip to the grocery or discount store.

I emailed the company to inquire about ingredients due to my dog's allergies. The company had three different unhelpful individuals call me to tell me that disclosing any information about ingredients was sharing proprietary information and they outright refused to tell me based on a list of allergies if my dog could use their product. They suggested that I inquire about it with my vet, but also refused to tell my vet if their product had anything that would make my dog ill.

i have a 65lb boxer and a 21lb beagle shih tzu mix and our boxer has sensitive skin due to food allergies and our mixd dog has very sensitive skin flea allergy and just sensitive all around. she had moist dermatitis and had scabs from scrathing and allgeries. i cut her hair when i got this product then bathed her with it and afterwards put sulfodene medicated liquid directly on her scabbed areas and the next day her scabs were gone and she smelled better and was scratching significantly less then prior to the use of this shampoo. i would 1000% recommend this product for anyone who has dogs with any kind of skin issues it works great. but i do recommend that you also use a medicated liquid also like the one i mentioned earlier SULFODENE. although the shampoos medicated its good to use a medicated liquid or ointment/lotion daily to aid in healing.

Milk Bone dog biscuits are second only to things-she-should-never-eat in Mollie's pantheon of treats. For some reason we humans can never comprehend, my very doggy 57 pound, two year old, lab mix, prefers day-old recently used dog food as her snack of choice. Our neighborhood is a cafeteria despite the law.

As soon as she is let off leash in Central Park she makes a beeline for the nearest pile as regular as the clockwork. "Leave it" screamed in a rising voice only works after her tasting has started. At home, I have offered her a selection of Zuke's treats, smelly cheese, freeze dried liver, and sometimes, a lick of the knife I just used to spread peanut butter. If I hold the treat in one hand and a milk bone in the other, most of the time she ignores the treat and gently takes the Milk Bone. It doesn't matter if I have broken the Milk Bone and the size is small. She has no discrimination based on size, just smell.

In my Upper West Side neighborhood, here in NYC, the sidewalks are crowded with dogs. Most, like mine, seem to be rescues, but many are show quality, and we owners congregate in the local dog run and talk about, what else, dogs.

Tooth cleaning around here with general anesthesia can push four figures and is a popular procedure with dogs that eat home cooked food, "raw diet" diets, gourmet refrigerated pet food etc. My Molly has been raised on Blue Buffalo dry food in various flavors, and we always have a ten pound box of Milk Bones hands. When she cleans up her plate, or does a reasonably good job, she is rewarded with a Milk Bone. They are a wonderful training aid and can be broken in small pieces so you don't overfeed. The point is that my Molly has shiny white teeth and a sweet breath and has never been fed table scraps or gourmet foods.

When using Amazon Prime, the Milk Bone comes in at half the price of buying locally. Can't beat that.

Though this product disappointed me.

I really liked the image/color of the product and was lured in my the great reviews, but

when the item arrived I got a bit disappointed. The quality is rather cheap, smells (to the point of my other, larger dog running away from it), the material looks/feels rather flimsy (yes you can see through certain stitches and folds change color as to start getting brittle, which I hope won't happen! The tires are cheap plastic, look weak and don't turn well either. -as is the odd cup holder)

The bottom piece is out of a thin piece of pliewood-ish cardboard to push into the bottom and the instructiions are quite bad ...(as remarked by many reviews of theese strollers).

The instructions also state that the max weight it 16 kgs to NOT put two or more then to pets in this stroller..so if the max weight was 16 kgs (a lot) would it be still safe to have two pets in there that are way less?? Because thats what I intended it for, after seeing my friend's stroller (which was a better and more leak proof variety, better quality and sadly more pricy...though sadly probably well worth it). It is also advise to never lift the stroller with pets inside, as the basket is rather flippy and not locked in place besides on weak velcow latches. On the upside the color is pretty, the sizing is good and it comes with a free rain cover (not high quality/sturdy either, but an all right feature).

I will see how the stroller thing works out for me and the dog (I am not into strollers, but my dog has health issues and so do I, so carrying her all over wouldn't work).

Though should we like it, I probably will upgrade to a medium price variety with three wheels for easier movements (in fact, I wish I had ordered a three wheeler!).

I would return this item but due to me having to asseble and unwrap everything prior to getting a good idea of it, I probably wo't be able to return unless I go through a lot of emailing and requesting first, since there was no invoice, packing slip OR return label on this item unfortunately. So I'll save myself the trouble.

Its normal for me to do my homework whenever i make a purchase that i expect to give me a long time of service. I checked other strollers online and in the stores. This same stroller was $125 in the store. So when i found it online i was delighted. It arrived in three days. It was easy to put together. The wheel problem (of falling off) was MY ERROR I didnt put them on correctly. Once installed the right way, they did beautifully. I took my little puppy for a walk to see how she would do and when we got home, she didnt want to get out of it! She loved it. It was easy to push and handle. And i can now take walks after dinner and take the little one with me. I like having the cup holder and a place to put my keys, too. My walk is usually a long one and her little legs get too tired after a few blocks. This stroller solves that problem.

Dont hesitate. This is a real delight. I was very happy with the quality of my purchase

My mom had always wanted a pet stroller for her chihuahua so as a mothers day present, I decided I'd finally get her one. It works great and has plenty of space to put stuff underneath. Now every time she wants to go to an art festival or to a farmers market, my dad folds it up and sticks it in the back of his mini cooper (it fits very nicely and is easy to fold and unfold.) Her friends are always jealous when they go out, because theirs aren't as nice ^-^

The stroller required some assembly. From day 1 it was never stable. The assembly & wheels were unbalanced and so one wheel would rotate and it never quite rolled right. I asked the seller about it and was given no assistance whatsoever. When I contacted them about replacement wheels (the double rear wheels) I was told they'd be $15 a piece to replace. That's more than half the cost of the stroller. My little dog is quite capable of walking on his own, but there are times when he's with me and it's less complicated or safer to have him in the stroller, such as walking around shopping villages or on crowded streets. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of money. :(

These are very high quality cow ears. They are very large, seem to have no strong smell, and the dogs love them. I prefer these to the greasy pig ears, and they do not give my dogs "tummy" aches, as is sometimes the case with pig ears. These white cow ears are lower in calories than pig ears, and are not at all greasy, as are the pig ears.

I have ordered white cow ears from this company several times, and I always receive a large and heavy box, full of giant white cow ears.I have Brittany's, and this size works well for a Brittany. I highly recommend these as a pleasant, healthy, snack for your dogs.

*The only negatives are the high cost of shipping, and the fact that the shipping is very slow. But those matters do not affect the very high quality of the white pig ears. The ears are extremely well-packed and always arrive in excellent condition.

My dog has outstanding allergy issues. He must be on a grain free formula and he also has a problem with chicken based meals. I've gone through 3 bags of this food, and the first two were great. Baku wasn't itching himself raw and things seemed to work ok. This latest bag, he's regressed back to his old state. He's itching himself to the point of blood. It's not a pretty picture.

More recalls of US-made pet jerky treats, FDA says

A Denver pet treat maker is recalling dozens of different products -from chicken jerky and pig ears to buffalo hearts -because they might be contaminated with salmonella.

It's the third recall since the fall by Kasel Associated Industries and covers all products manufactured at the Colorado facility from April 20 through Sept. 19, 2012. The firm previously declined to recall its treats, despite urging from the federal Food and Drug Administration.

The recall is not related to the FDA's ongoing investigation into pet illnesses and deaths tied to chicken jerky pet treats made in China.

The Kasel recall includes several popular brands, including items sold at Costco. Kasel is recalling Boots & Barkley, BIXBI, Nature's Deli, Colorado Naturals, Petco and Best Bully Stick items. The products include best buy dates through Oct. 3, 2014.

The treats could be contaminated with salmonella bacteria, which could lead to illness in pets -and in people who come in contact with the products or pets who've consumed them. Symptoms of salmonella infection in pets include lethargy, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Some pets will have decreased appetite and no other signs.

Similar symptoms can appear in humans. Salmonella infection typically causes illness that lasts only a few days, but in young children, the elderly or those with weakened immune systems, the infection can be severe and require hospitalization.

Our vet sells these so I grabbed them in bulk. My dogs go insane for these little treats. I personally believe it is because they are really smelly so it gets their slobber going!

My best advise is to take them and shove them into rawhides or other items that you want a long chew. Great bang for the buck, 2 of these little treats shoved into the ends of rawhide rolls gives both dogs a good 45 min of chew time.
