This is the best Turtle pellet on the market. I have been keeping Turtles for 15 years plus, and this hands down is my top recommendation for a commercial prepared Turtle food. I own a lab/german shorthair mix, and he recently began his shedding cycle. Simply put, this brush fully cleaned him up after two uses (in the same day). I found that tapping the top of the brush against my palm while holding it over the trash can was the quickest way to clean it out. And I had to clean it out often, as it grabbed hair on every stroke. Another tip: for my dog, I found that long, head-to-tail strokes worked the best. If you are on the fence about buying a rubber brush, just know that I was too, but I won't own anything else after this one. I would like to start by saying I bought this first at a local Agway 4 to 5 years ago. Since I brought this product home, my cat has just looked at me funny if I try to give her any other toy, even when put in the bag that this toy comes in. I have just recently found one of the original one of these that I bought, it was lost for a long time and was found in a place I never would have looked for it. It had been stepped on and was no longer round, but once my cat saw it in my hand and putting it back in the bag to recharge, she sat there looking at the bag waiting for the time I would take it out and give it to her again. If you are buying a cat toy, let me just say this one provides as much fun for you as it does for your cat. the secret to this ball is the way the lamb's wool interacts with your cats claws. I have personally seen this ball go over six feet in the air, this is the reason it will get lost in a place you will not look for it. My recommendtion is to buy 2 of these. It may take you a long time to find the first one, and once you see you cat play with this toy, you will not want to see the look on your cat's face when you try to move the empty bag. 1 of these is worth 20 catnip mice that are under your couch!

My dog destroys all of his toys rather quickly--especially the rubber ones. I bought this on a whim, hoping I could stop him from tearing it into little pieces. As it turns out, that was unnecessary. It stood up to his attacks very well. The hole in this toy is enormous though. It's an 'X' about three inches long and nearly an inch wide. Short of stuffing an entire bone in there, I can't imagine what kind of treat would even stay in it. You could fill it with peanut butter I suppose, but the shape doesn't work well. Kongs are much better for that purpose.My 9 month old shepherd/hound mix is good at chewing up toys, so I'm always looking for new ones. I normally feed her meals in toys to keep her working (and busy!), and this was a great find for the rotation. It's a sturdy material much like Kong toys, but larger, and even with her biting at the easy-to-grip areas of the toy, she hasn't managed to damage it in the few months we've had it. The "X" shaped hole that releases food is too large for the small kibble I use (she can get it out very fast) but larger treats or a few ice cubes keep her occupied. She gets her lower jaw inside the toy through the "X" to break up the treats or just carry the toy around the house.Our 70 lb. enthusiastic and highly "oral" Airedale doesn't eat it. . . It remains intact after over a month's vigorous use. Although provided with a means whereby tempting food may be placed within, no food is required in our case.

Normally I find great prices on Amazon, but I'm shocked that this product is so much more here than it is at Costco, where my husband just bought a bag for only $11.99 (exact same size). Be that as it may, it's one of those treats that even finicky chewers will eat and I highly recommend it. One of my dogs, who had a very small appetite because of cancer, was chewing on them to the end. The ingredients are pretty decent for a dog product, although I'm not clear on how it can be gluten-free if it has wheat in it. I first tried this item for my two malamutes when it was offered at Costco. They have never enjoyed anything that they could not destroy, like the original Nylabone or Kong. They drool at the sight/smell of these coming but go through them like they were corn muffins. Now they are no longer at my local Costco, and a variant seems available in some dog supply catalogs. Get 'em while you can.
