I have purchased this product at a natural pet food store in the past and it is wonderful. My one star has nothing to do with the quality of the product and everything to do with the seller of the product--AmericaRX. I ordered a bag of the joint rescue for my dog in mid July. Instead I received AXE men's deodorant. Yeah, not even CLOSE. I was then told I had to take a picture of the product, to verify. Then I had to wait for them to email me a shipping label. Then I had to pay for shipping material and take the time to send it back. I needed the product for my dog for whom I use this as a glucosamine supplement so I asked them to send me what I ordered as soon as they received the wrong product they sent. I waited and waited. Finally contacted them today, it is now September 6 and they said they just credited my credit card instead of sending me the product I ordered. I would NEVER do business with AmericaRX EVER again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are one of the few treats with glucosamine that my dog with actually eat. She is 13 lbs and I give her 1/3 of a strip a day and I've seen a huge difference in her mobility!

They were $16.99 at my local dog store, so this price is MUCH better. I wish they weren't so expensive, but it beats forcing liquid down her throat everyday.

These are absolutely the best jerky treats (Loving Pets Grill-icious Bite Size Dog Treats excellent too, but are not technically jerky treats I suppose). We LUV Loving Pets around this house. Yes I'm am deathly afraid of pet food from China, in fact these would be the only pet food from China we buy. Grill-icious is made in the USA, at least right now it is.

Try finding Duck Jerky made in the USA, very difficult.

9/13/13 update:

Going to have to knock these down by two stars. The quality is suffering & my dog is losing interest. I can tell too that these treats are not as smelly or gooey as in the past. Believe we are done with treats made in China, even tho these treats have not caused any issues I am reading too many bad reviews regarding jerky treats out of China. Stopped buying all other pet food from China years ago.

Yes, my dogs eat dry food, but they really look forward to mornings when they get their "special treat" of Cesar Cuisine. They love it! She has a forward girth channel and her elbows were rubbed by other girths I tried making her unhappy and short strided. The only problem with the Perri's girth is that the strap loops below the buckles are too small to accept the ends of the billet straps and therefore the billet strap ends stick out.

Jolly balls are fantastic if you have dog(s) that just love balls, running, playing, and/or chasing. They are also an exceptional alternative to tennis balls if you have a dog that is fixated or obsessed about chewing tennis balls. However, the red Jollys seem to have a different type of rubber in their make-up, particularly in the handle. The RED are much sturdier while seemingly more flexible. I will stick with red Jolly balls in EVERY size they make (including the horse size) for my Golden Retriever and Labradoodle. Inexpensive fun that lasts and lasts and lasts.

For years I've been feeding an unsocialized cat who won't let me touch him. Recently he started looking pretty bad so I figured it was time for some parasite treatments. Panacur treats for round, hook, tape and some other worms as well as some other intestinal parasites, is inexpensive compared to the alternatives and can be purchased over the counter. This is also what some of the vets have used for treating rescued cats and kittens.

I purchased the larger size and divided each pack into two doses, using an oral syringe to measure the doses, to save money even further. I reconstitued it with water and mixed it with his food and he gobbled it up. It's a 3 day treatment and very easy to use, and kitty is looking like he feels better already. Of course he gets top notch food and supplements as well. I'm also treating him for fleas with Capstar, which I also mix into his food since I can't get near enough to apply a topical.

Our puppy had giardia and this was prescribed by his vet.

Problem is, the vet wanted $27 to treat the dog. I knew I had seen this product on Amazon and I opted to buy it myself and treat my dog myself.

Product arrived next day (I live in CA where it was shipped from).

Treatment is one full packet per your dog's weight so buy the correct dose for your dog. If you need to weigh your dog, go old school by weighing yourself with dog in hand, record weight, then weigh yourself again without dog in hand. The difference between the two eights is the dog's weight.

Treatment was easy. I mixed this product in with some cottage cheese and his normal food. Puppy ate it all up.

Treatment was complete in three days, no major side affects sans some looser stools from puppy.

Had him retested two weeks later and all is clear. Definitely would buy again if needed. Saved time and plenty of money getting educated and taking care of business myself.

I love the Fiddle Sticks Hideout. It comes flat, and has wire going thru the wood sticks that allows you to bend it either into a wave or the arch as shown. My piggy likes to hide under it with it laying down like a tunnel, or he chews on the ends. We also stand the tunnel up (as shown in the picture) and use it as a wall that my guinea pig jumps over. (It looked waaay to tall to be possible, but piggys jump high!) Pigs can see color, and mine loves this.

This has been a popular toy with our guinea pigs over the years, but I did want to mention that, as with any wood toy or hidey, it's important to watch out for signs of excessive soiling or chew damage. Because products like this come in regular contact with wet bedding, etc., they are breeding grounds for bacteria and mold. Wood splinters can also cause mouth injury or become a choking hazard.

Speaking of wood...I recently followed up with SuperPet after another reviewer asserted that the FiddleSticks toy is made from oak. SuperPet responded that the wood used for this item is heat-treated *pine.* Not sure where that customer got his/her information.

Overall, a decent toy that should be removed/replaced once it has become soiled or damaged. I'd give it a 5-star rating if the materials and labor were Certified-USA (it's made in China, like most pet toys these days).

I bought one of these off amazon and want to buy another. guinea pig loves it. she chews it all the time to keep her teeth trimmed and enjoys hiding underneath it. the metal in the mechanism works fantastically and you can make it flat, like a ramp, so the pig can climb up to a higher level of boxes to hide inside. it can bend into a steep Tee-Pee shape, or into a stair zig zag shape. it's VERY sturdy, almost difficult to bend into the shape you want, but it is sturdy for the animal! makes for a great step-up staircase for my pig.

Firstly, this is a great product, I have not met a dog who does not adore them, but most of all I love the fact there are no chemicals or preservatives of any type, only ingredient is lamb lung.

Secondly, do not be deceived by the advertising. You do not get 12 Bags and save $119 (not sure exact amount it says), you get ONE bag, which combined with the $10 odd shipping means its heaps cheaper to buy from your local boutique pet store.

On the plus side, my dog adores these (but then again she adores just about anything that isn't a mushroom). But, on a Jackie scale of 1 (delicious) to 10 (super-duper-climb-on-the-counter-yummy-delicious) this appears to be an 9.03. She Really Likes These.

For a training treat, they will break up easily. For a snack in the dish, they are not messy (even when A Certain Dog runs away with it in her mouth to munch down elsewhere). It is a quick snack though, definitely not a chew.

Some dog treats are stinky or disagreeable, but these are not...except that in the old packaging (the photo still up on Amazon) it is NOT clear this is a lung treat. My husband is having a severe case of 'yuck' over these and I would not have bought them if it had been clear, but in the mean time, the dog gets to enjoy this bag.

Speaking of the packaging, it does appear to have changed. The Merrick website shows this treat as having a recall, but what arrived was NOT part of the recall (it was a theoretical risk, no ill dogs reported). The new packaging also makes it more obvious it's a lung product.

Overall, recommended, but do not be surprised by the Lung content and by the change in package. I am taking my dog's word for it (so to speak) that these are quite delicious.
