We just acquired a miniature poodle from rescue and although he only weighs 12 pounds, that can get heavy when you carry him around for any length of time. We always take a summer trip over to the islands on Lake Erie and of course wanted to take "Joey" with us. I saw some other strollers at another website, but knew that Amazon would certainly have a better deal, which they did. I bought this for 1/2 of what I would have paid for one at the other site and Joey loves it! Being a rescue, you never know how they will react to things, but when we put him in it, he just sniffed around and laid down! We left it open at first so he wouldn't be frightened at all. Then after he was taking a little nap, we zipped it up and took him on a little walk, which he loved. He was looking out of all the screen windows and having a great time. I think he felt very secure in it. It is so sturdy and roomy for him and he fits it perfectly. He is able to sit up with plenty of head room and lay down and stretch out as well. My husband loves the cup holder and the compartment to keep small objects. Plus, the tray under the stroller is perfect for all the little extras we take with us on our trip. Great purchase! This will get alot of use for sure!
UPDATE: 9-27-2010 We have used this all summer and taken Joey everywhere with us, except the grocery store, and it has held up wonderfully! He just sees us getting it out and he starts dancing around. Too cute! Also, very easy to collapse and put away or get out of the trunk and pop up. Love it!

I love this stroller. I'm sure there are better pet strollers out there but for the price this one works great. I have taken 4 of my dogs to the vet at once and I put 3 of them in this stroller and it makes going to the vet so much easier. The three dogs I put in here at once their weight combined is about 15 pounds. I wouldn't put 2 dogs in here that both weighed say 20 pounds but for one dog 15 pounds or several small dogs it works well. The only bad thing I've seen about this stroller so far is there is a small gap at both ends of the zipper and I worry that my 3 pound dog might get out if I'm not looking at all times. So far none of my dogs has tried to get out but that is a worry. I wish there was no small gaps. Also it does not have a thing to attach to your dogs harness. I wish that it had that. Other then that it is great for the price.

This stroller is sturdy, roomy, and easy to push. The top storage holds my keys and wallet, plus
the 2 beverage holders. It's a breeze to open and close when done. The zipper is a little hard
to get started when closing the hood, but I think it will get easier as I use it more.
My toy poodle loves it. He can go with momma now and not have to stay home by himself.
I never thought at 63 that I would be pushing a dog around in a stroller (a blue one for a boy).

I love this stroller. I want to say some things that I couldn't find any other reviewer mentioning that you may find helpful.
-The blue in the blue grid stroller is more of a tealish blue rather than lighter blue as my monitor shows.
-The grid pattern is yellow and white.
-FYI, if you are considering the classic green, it is lime green not mint as shown. There are 15+ colors to choose from.
-There is a removable "fleecy wool" pad (velcroed) included for comfort, you may want more cushion for lengthy strolls.
-It was relatively easy to put together. It took me approx. 15-20 min. total, and I am a girl :b (back wheels took longest)
-This stroller fits a 20lb. dachshund with plenty of turn around room. It fits both my 20lb. dachshund and 5lb. toy poodle.
-I noticed a few saying they had problems with their front wheels/steering....none here!
-Very sturdy, the wheels on this stroller are a bit beefier than the lime green stroller. It's built like a baby stroller.
-Cargo platform sz. 21L x 13.5W x 20H--recommended 30lbs.
-This does have a leash hook up on inside of canopy on top.
-Some sellers do have the RAIN COVER included. SUPER easy to fit into place when the rain starts. Velcro secured.
-Rear wheels have brakes...very handy!
-Folds down and reopens smoothly.
-Dual cup holders with a compartment w/lid in between--not waterproof as one reviewer stated--but handy!
-Storage basket below for drinking bowl, leash, dog toys etc.
-Both FRONT and REAR zipped entries
-Padded handle bar
SOME NEGATIVES (reasons for only 4 stars)--when folded, the stroller is balancing on just two wheels, so if you are in a position where you must stand holding the folded stroller, it rolls around. At the zipper ends there are 2-3 inch openings, be careful if you have pets that nose around looking for a way out. I personally would prefer the top vent be bigger so that I can have a larger viewing area of my pets as I walk, but then again, maybe it is better because it blocks more sun.??? Instructions skip the rear wheel assembly...just know to place the single wheel on the bar and then place pin/clip, then snap plastic round cover on. You will need something to pry the clip open.

Just received my new pet stroller, and had it unwrapped and put together in less then 20 minutes, I agree the instructions weren't that informative, but I've put many a baby strollers together and this was no problem... a few tips though....I used a butter knife to help pry those pins in the back wheels.... and when you go to attach the back wheel bar... make sure you get it all the way pushed on the 2 metal poles, as I didn't and thought the frame was bent and had to call and he walked me through to make sure I had it put together right.....

Thought I'd give some description as the information doesn't do it justice....the inner lining (soft white pad) is velcro and detachable for easy washing, comes with an attachment near the handlebar that holds 2 cups, and a closed section to keep keys/phone out of sight... the storage underneath is quite spacious! Fully zips for those pets that like to jump, yet you can unzip it if you prefer, clear view on top and underneath the handlebar allows you to keep an eye on your pet! there's an attached hook you can clip your leash to, so they don't jump out and run away while trying to get them in and out of it!
So far I love it!
