I have 2 dogs, one of whom had very dirty teeth. I started using the Leba III as indicated (2x/day) and the results were amazing. The dog with the worst plaque showed a significant improvement, and the other dog with moderate plaque was almost plaque-free. My husband and I couldn't believe how much change had occurred in just 2 weeks. Now we are on a once-a-day regimen and their teeth keep improving. I really can recommend it!

I've tried various "natural" dental products for my two small dogs. All the products I've tried promise more than what we've actually experienced. Every night without fail both my dogs go through a grooming ritual that includes brushing teeth. They are mostly cooperative except when it comes to brushing so, I tried Leba III. I did "exactly" as instructed and while it helped with their breath my Papillon did get some tartar on his gum line and it didn't whiten their teeth so, we are back to brushing nightly and using the spray. I'm a fanatic when it comes to dental hygiene because of the risk involved in putting them under anesthesia for professional cleaning and the cost. Bottom line, too expensive for results the other products I've used worked about the same for less $$$.

I have a 4 year old dog that has never had his teeth cleaned. Took him to the vet and got an estimate on what it would cost to have them cleaned. After hearing all the additional options/tests I could have done to make sure my dog was healthy enough to put under anethesia I started to really get worried. My friend told me about this spray she had seen in the magazine. After I did some research I went ahead and ordered it. If it didn't work, well it wouldn't have been the first thing I've ordered that didn't work. To my surprise it does work! I spray it twice a day into my dog's mouth and it has only been 4 weeks and it's quite a change! I'm so glad I came across this. I would definately recommend trying this before putting your dog under anethesia to get their teeth cleaned. My dog actually does not mind this at all and he is one to put up a fight usually on anything having to do with his face or ear area.

While the ingredients in Leba III are natural, a small percentage of humans are known to have had serious allergic reactions to taking these ingredients on their own for various reasons.

Apparently these rare allergic reactions can also occur in dogs.

I put my Rat Terrier on Leba III twice a day. Soon after his face began to swell in the neck and cheek area. The swelling increased very quickly, and I was afraid that it was a tumor. It had grown to the size of a baseball. The vet used a syringe to get some cells for analysis, but it came back inconclusive.

I went ahead with a full biopsy. During the healing period I stopped using Leba III so that it would not mix with the antibiotics. He appeared to be healing quite well. Then one day his stitches opened up fully. There had been a large collection of fluid inside that was stopping the wound from healing from the inside out.

I took him an emergency vet who stitched him back up. The fluid, which we thought was serum, continued to drain, so a draining tube was added. Once the draining tube was removed, the fluid had no where left to go so it began to seep right through the skin of his neck.

The first biopsy came back negative for everything except inflammation.

After a few more weeks of healing, he was looking pretty good. I started him back on the Leba III, never even considering the possibly of an allergy to it. My dog's face began to swell again, and fluid began to seep through the skin once more.

Additionally, the swelling had moved over his throat and he began to have trouble breathing. I took him to the emergency vet in the middle of the night, and he had nothing to suggest.

I took him off the Leba III because he ended up back on antibiotics. Stupidly, once he seemed better again I put him back on the Leba III. He swelled again, back to the vet, a couple of biopsy slides were taken, they came back as inflammation.

It was at this point that I was told I should take take him to a specialist.

I had stopped the Leba III again and the swelling went down and finally went away. The scab healed where the seepage had been coming from, and he seemed fine so I did not go to the specialist.

$2000 and lots of heartache later, I finally figured out what 2 surgeons and 3 vets could not; that all of the problems stemmed from a reaction to the Leba III.

It was a painful process, and I truly thought my dog was going to die from it. I still have severe guilt knowing that it was me that put him through it by giving him the Leba III.

I'm sure this product has done wonders for many dogs, but I wanted to write this review as a cautionary tale.

If you see any swelling around the face or neck, stop LEBA III immediately!!

My vet recommended this product so I reluctantly purchased my first bottle as I was dubious as to whether it could really work. It really does! I have two dogs, one of whose teeth were getting a great deal of tartar buildup. I am now on my third bottle. I started noticing the results about halfway through the second bottle and both dog's teeth have improved remarkably. My 8 year old terrier who was beginning to need a dental no longer does; I would venture to say her teeth have at least 50% less tartar than they did before. I believe I will not have to have either dog's teeth cleaned by the vet in the future and Leba III is in my house to stay. Although the dogs don't love getting their mouths sprayed they are used to it and their only reaction now is a disgusted look and a big sigh. Best price I've found is on Amazon.com.
