I found out my adopted dog Sammi has hip dysplasia when I came home one afternoon and she could barely walk, and had trouble squatting down to go to the bathroom. The vet suggested giving her fish oil supplements, but I knew that wasn't going to address the issue of her joints, so I went on a search to find something specific to help ease her joint pain. Arthogen Plus is an amazing product. The combination of ingredients: glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and hyaluonic acid addressed everything needed to not only help ease the pain, but to help strengthen her hips. The vet said I would need to keep her on an exercise program of walking, but she could only make it 1/4 to 1/2 mile tops. After taking this product for 2 months she is now walkiing 3 miles (and still not slowing down), and running & playing with my other dog. Great product and great price on Amazon.

Its not very healthy for your dog. It can cause dry skin, dull coat, intestinal back up, yuck, anal glands fill up quickly, and lacks a lot of the fiber needed for a dog to move it's bowels properly. My dog has experienced all of these. Now, over a thousand dollars at the vet and a switch to new dog food, my furchild is now happy and healthy again.

These are soo easy to use and you can fill them with just about anything. Now when I am getting ready to jump on a conference call or need to keep the dogs busy I simply pop one treat from the freezer into the Kong and they are focused for the next 15-20 minutes. I stuff these into the genius kong toys too! A neat trick is to spray the tray with a little bit of PAM before filling the trays, this makes it very easy to dispense the frozen treats. I made some pumpkin and yogurt treats, as well as pure yogurt ones. The dogs love them. I have a beagle and pitbull terrier.

I bought this toy for our miniature poodles, from another vendor. Within minutes they had one corner of the plush bone chewed open, and were pulling the stuffing out -the squeaker wasn't far behind, and not secured in any way to prevent choking or swallowing. I put it up, preventing free access play, to reserve for supervised tug play. Before giving it back to the dogs, I wanted to make sure all the stuffing material and anything else harmful was removed from the inside. I was dismayed to find that the rope does not go all the way through the toy! How much can they be saving on two inches of rope?! I would gladly have paid a little extra for a safe, good quality toy! Altogether the dogs had played with it less than 15 minutes before it was useless, in pieces. That's a lot of money to spend on garbage. I will never purchase anything made by this company again -I've given enough of my hard-earned cash to these cheapskates.

I originally bought a few packages of this because I had read good reviews and it was well reccomended on many sites. My friend's cat had kittens and my boyfriend and i decided to take two of the four(we were lucky to be there from day one and watch their growth and development and got to bond with them from the start). All four of the kittens were fine, but one was always smaller than the others, the only girl, and she frequently got pushed aside during meals. I started giving her some special attention, meals by herself, special treats to help bulk her up, but i wanted to be sure she was getting extra nutrients too.

After giving her these vitamins, the change was subtle but a big difference to me. I gave her one a day and originally it took her a while to eat because she had such a small mouth even at 3-4 months. Her coat was always nice, but now it is glossy and beautiful, she has more energy(when the boys arnt around to bowl her over), she seems to be absorbing her food better because she has started growing at the same rate as the boys when before she seemed slower to catch up, and i can tell the difference.

I started giving the vitamin to my boy as well(a monster sized cat, bigger than momcat at only 4-5 months) and his coat is so soft and downy now, fluffy, bright eyed, and surprisingly he sheds slightly less. When i brush him he still has a lot of fur come off, but it doesnt just fall off anymore when i pet him. He is long hair and she is short hair which is part of the difference in their coats.

Originally he was outpacing her in weight, when i started the vitamins he was two pounds a head of her. The weight difference has evened out and she has started catching up. And they love it. I just shake the bag and they come running for their vitamin. I will keep using this product for a long time!

My dog will stare at me until she gets one of these dental bones (this can go on for a VERY long time). She mostly likes to pick out the red 'meat' part and that keeps her busy for a long time. I suggest that you never leave your pet alone with the bone, though, since they can choke on a piece as with any tough treat.

My dog loves these bones. Although, I am not sure if there really is a big difference between these and the regular dingo bones. I bought these just for the thought of cleaner teeth. Name was a bit of shocker when my wife first brought them home lambs lungs, really? but the dog likes them, they are low in fat and calories, hig in protein, have no obnoxious odor, and they keep/travel well. They are also pricey depending on the seller, anywhere from $20-30 per pound so you kind of wonder if steak wouldn't be a more cost effective treat. But can't envision myself taking the dog for a walk or run with a pocket full of raw steak. So I recommend you go with the Baa-Baas. Probably some other brands that are less expensive but not likely much difference in price.

Not made in China but not made in USA either is anything? Made in Brazil. But they are slow chewing bones which was what I needed my dog can chew through most rawhide bones in a day hes been a couple days on his first one of this make.

I have no idea why this toy is called "hearty." To me that means tough, and this toy isn't. My 16 lb dog, 8 mos old, had the knots untied and the ropes frayed, torn to bits, and in pieces on the rug in less than a hour. I've been picking red, yellow and orange stringy bits out of the carpet for days. The only reason it gets two stars is the blue ball can be used as a treat ball when the ropes are all pulled out, but that certainly isn't what it was intended to be used as, and isn't the best treat ball. I changed my mind, I'm downgrading to one star. This isn't a good product.
