I swear we have a dozen of these things lying around our house! Our dogs LOVE them. We have Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that range from 11 to 24 lbs and they are the perfect size for them. Our dogs will seek them out and just lay on the rug or on their pillow just chewing them. They help with plaque, too. Our vet says that all of our dogs teeth look good and we never brush, just give them access to Nylabones, and give them the occasional dental treat.

All of our Cavaliers are MAJOR chewers, the kind that will destroy toys, tennis balls, your shoes, phone, etc. As long as we keep the Nylabones accessible, they chew other stuff a lot less.

One warning: Stepping on the chewed end of a Nylabone with bare feet in the dark WILL cause great pain and yelling. Those suckers are SHARP. :-D

We have six assorted sized dachshunds all heavy chewers. This is the favorite toy/treat of all six. Even though there are always more than enough bones to go around they always want the bone another dog has. They will patiently watch each other and as soon as the one chewing on bone loses interest they will swoop in and grab the bone for themselves. They all get excited when we open a new pack. We buy the three pack.

very good quality! My monster chewers... size medium and small... LOVE these and they last for a verry long time... They are SMALL though.

I ordered these on the recommendation of the vet. My little beagle loves to chew and chews up all her toys no matter how sturdy they are supposed to be. I am not saying she doesn't macerate the Nyla Bones, but she cannot chew off pieces, and it takes her quite a while to "make a dent" in them.

Want Nylabone Dura Chew Value Pack, Regular Discount?

The bones are definitely indestructible. Like the previous reviewer, my dog also doesn't appear to be completely interested in it. They are also pretty small but very formidable opponent to chewing. As long as I pick them up once and a while and show interest, she generally does too.

These are soo easy to use and you can fill them with just about anything. Now when I am getting ready to jump on a conference call or need to keep the dogs busy I simply pop one treat from the freezer into the Kong and they are focused for the next 15-20 minutes. I stuff these into the genius kong toys too! A neat trick is to spray the tray with a little bit of PAM before filling the trays, this makes it very easy to dispense the frozen treats. I made some pumpkin and yogurt treats, as well as pure yogurt ones. The dogs love them. I have a beagle and pitbull terrier.

Wellness Canned Dog Lamb & Sweet Potato

Customer Ratings:

Certainly the quality of this dog food is very good.

The Wellness Lamb and Sweet Potato is by far their favorite canned food. It has protein content of 37% and a fat level of 23% (which is a little higher fat level than I would like but...). I use an independant dog food advisory site when considering any dog food I buy and the Wellness canned dog food was rated a 4.5 (out of 5) stars and was highly recommended.

I feed my dogs dry food (consistently the same), but for their evening meal I split a can for my 2 large dogs.

The bottom line for me is it is a very good quality dog food and my dogs love it.

I have the pickiest eater in the world! He loves it.

Gilbert (cockapoo), also had stomach issues. I'm glad to report after a week on Wellness Lamb and Sweet Potato, in addition to the Core dry food, Gil's stomach problems are over.

This is Human Grade Food for dogs. He gets one 6 ounce can a day and munches on core dry all day. I also cut out all processed dog treats. We stick with fresh food treats such as: apple, sweet potato, egg, and some cheese once in awhile. Frozen string beans in an ice cube tray are also great!

Please take care to feed your dogs and cats natural foods! Read articles on rendered meats, your stomach will turn. Take care!

I have used Wellness for my four dogs for over ten years. My westie is allergc to white rice as she has the white dog skin problems. I feed all the dogs the same food and with exercise have had no problem keeping them a health weight and have had minimum skin problems with two westies. It is relatively expensive but less expensive than vet bills.

I am the companion to a small dog of unknown age and breed who has been troubled with a tender tummy for a few years. Her vet has tons of medications to give her, but I don't need any of them since I tried the Wellness brand dry dog food and the moist.

All her problems gave gone away. It is amazing. She has not been to the vet since her last yearly checkup.

Although I've never really tried these my schnauzer, Hailey Jo, says she loves them. She knows she gets one when she goes out to do "her duty" and I see her make a quick loop on the patio, never even attempting to do anything, and then running back to the door to be let in. She immediately heads to her treat jar and waits for her bitty bones. This is the 2nd time I have bought them through Amazon since I can't find them in my city.

Okay, they're Dentastix, not much to say about them except that it's handy not to have to run to the store for dog treats and with Subscribe and Save, they were even less than Target or Petsmart.

Our rat terrier is a rescue with not-so-great teeth. We had his teeth cleaned when we brought him home, but he's not fond of really hard bones. The vet approved giving him Dentastix.

He eats an upscale natural dry food, but I like to give him something to gnaw on and he enjoys these. At his 14 pound weight, he can have 1 or 2 a day, but I usually just break one in half so he can have them more often.

Beware of the SMALL size, they are for dogs over 25 pounds. Be sure to get minis for your extra small friend. :)

I must admit that I didn't really expect the DentaStix to do wonders for my 13-14 yr. old Bearded Collie/Sheepdog mix, but I couldn't have been more wrong! He hates having his teeth cleaned, and his breath will literally knock you over on a bad day. : )

So I started giving these treats to him 2-3 times daily and everyone who was aware of his atrocious breath agrees its 100% better! I have even noticed a difference in the coloring of his teeth...which suggests to me that this product's claims of removing tartar buildup are actually true!

Although these treats claim to be for a toy/small dog, they work well for him and me...he's 65 lbs. and has a tendency to make big messes with larger treats!

I have two rescued yorkies. Yorkies are notorious for having problems with their teeth. I am unable to get a toothbrush to their back teeth so I give them one of these each day to help keep their teeth clean. Do they help? I really don't know, but I'm not going to stop giving these to them to find out. They absolutely love them. They will "sit" and "stay" for them. They will also "leave it" until I tell them to "go". They are so well trained to "leave it" that I have to insist to get them to grab it. Sometimes my little male gets himself so excited to get one of these, I swear if he had pants on, he'd pee in them. I put one in front of him and one in front of my female and he'll be looking at hers and his back and forth trying to figure out how he can get both of them before she gets hers. She seems to be deaf when I say "go", so I have to hand hers to her so he won't grab it out from under her. Pretty comical and entertaining to watch. Guess I should shoot a video of it so you can enjoy watching them as much as I do.

My little Jack-a-Bee LOVES these Chicken Chips, but unfortunately they are made in China (Thank You Amazon Reviewers for bringing this to my attention!) and since we love our dog we won't be buying any more these as Chinese manufacturing quality is suspect, to say the least.

My dogs really take to these chicken chips but since the product is made in China I will no longer buy them. Please review:

November 18, 2011 -The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued an important bulletin warning consumers that chicken jerky products (also marketed as chicken tenders, strips or treats) may be associated with serious illness in dogs.

Over the past 12 months, the FDA has observed an increase in the number of complaints regarding canine illnesses associated with consumption of chicken jerky products imported from China.

These complaints have been reported to the government by both dog owners and veterinarians.

FDA had previously issued a cautionary warning regarding chicken jerky products in September 2007 and a Preliminary Animal Health Notification later on in December of 2008.

My stupid dog, after eating a whole athletic sock (which led to a surgical sock-ectomy) and now having a sensitive stomach, was on a diet of Pedigree Healthy Digestion and green beans (or weight). He'd been eating a lot of grass and vomiting on a regular basis (no sock involved), so we thought we'd try another/better food to see if it made a difference. He seems to be tolerating it wonderfully; no grass eating or vomiting, but time will tell.

This is great dog food, especially for those of us who have trouble feeding our dogs lamb, chicken, or red meat. I avoided this food for a long time because of the celebrity connection to Dick Van Patten of "Eight is Enough." For all I know he may not even own the company anymore, but he clearly associated with some knowledgeable people to produce this food. The ingredients are top grade and the calorie count is excellent: The fish has 323 calories, and the vege has 344 calories, per cup. This is important when you have any dog, but especially small dogs. My local independent pet store sells this for $13.00.

I needed a dog food to try & curb my little one from eating her own poop...not 100% but it's slowly working. She likes it. Since she is so small she has some trouble with the size but is getting more used to it and is eating more each day. Was skeptical about sweet potato curbing the "poop appeal" but am slowly thinking there might be something to it.

He is not vomiting and eating grass or having severe gas and bowel problems. His itching has dminished by at least 70% and he has a twinkle in his eyes again and I'm not pulling my hair out trying to find a solution! Now we will see how he does on this long term. After a couple weeks of my large yellow Labrador being on them, we noticed a GREAT improvement with his shedding! We had tried everything, even the furminator, to help with his shedding. A neighbor recently bought my dog an antler from a speciality pet store and my dog absolutely loved it! However, I couldn't justify the $24 price tag that came with it. This anter, although slightly smaller, was such a great value that I had to try it. The 4-5" description is accurate although misleading if you read it along with the word "giant." My dog is a bloodhound mix weighing almost 100 pounds and can almost fit the whole anter in his mouth. However, he does love it so I let him chew on it with proper supervision. I definitely recommend this product if your dog is an intense chewer and you're sick of gross slobbery rawhide (the antler is a much cleaner and natural alternative)!

It looked like I opened a meal for me. It looked homemade. There were chunks of meat, potatoes and vegetables. There was no "doggy" smell either. It smelled fresh and delicious, believe it or not. I could not believe this was holistic special food. Well I put it down for my baby girl to try and she gobbled it up in no time at all. It passed her inspection so it has to be good!
