After struggling with my cat's digestive issues, this food saved him and our rugs! He used to barf several times a day. Our vet suggested fancy prescription food, which my other cat hated. She lost weight on it, and his vomiting issues were still a problem, so I decided to try this. The vomiting stopped. It was amazing. He is so much healthier. I went to the vet because my kitten had frequent diarrhea, without eating any wet food. The vet first prescribed some drugs, which helped a little, but the problem continued. He then suggested switching the dry food diet to either Science Diet or this. Being the cheaper of the two, I tried this first. Within days, the problems stopped, and have not happened since. It has now been 3 months without any issues. I would recommend this to anyone experiencing frequent digestion problems, such as mine. Purina also makes several other formulas, such as hairball control, and all around nutrition. I inherited a cat with digestive issues and horrible gas smells. She could clear a room! This food was the first sensitive food I tried and it worked perfectly. I could only find this size bag at Amazon and this works better than having to keep buying small bags. When I first adopted my cat she was eating Costco cat food from her foster home. Over a few weeks I slowly transitioned her to expensive, grain free food from the local fancy pants pet food store but by the time I had gotten her to 50/50 she was throwing up every few days. I tried a couple other brands from the pet food store but she would just turn her nose up at them. So, I went to Target and picked up a bag of this food. She still barfs occasionally, but it might have more to do with eating too fast than the food, but I'm not positive. I'm not too worried about an occasional throw-up because as soon as I switched her to this food she got frisky like a kitten and gained enough weight so that she didn't look sickly. That might just be the best we can hope for! So far this sensitive systems has been the best one for my "babies". Niki, Brandee, & Cuddles haven't thrown up since I put them on this one. I've tried for hair balls, urine, even allergy free ingrdients but especially with Niki, had problems with him throwing up. Another thing good about (Purina One) is the first ingredient is always REAL chicken or turkey,(not by products.) This is much healthier for your pets. ALWAYS watch the ingredients!!!Paula
