I was not impressed about this product (Made in China). Cheaply made and not very good quality. Outside was coated with redish brown sweet something which stained the carpet. I raise Australian Shepherd and Collie puppies. This is the only food I will use for my puppies! I recommend it to all of my puppies new families. Tried the expensive Blue, which gave my dog constipation. This dog food is perfect for my chocolate miniature schnauzer. This breed is known for stomach sensitivities like hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (look it up). Started slowly mixing last of blue with the chicken soup, and not a single problem! This is the worst quality of hay. It contains mostly yellow straws and rarely any green hay. These are yellow straws and don't even look close to hay. I have purchased Kaytee's Timothy hay from Target in the past, but it was 10 times better. I think the vendor intentionally has swapped the hay with yellow straws. Don't even think of purchasing this hay. I am really frustrated. You cannot feed this quality to any living animals. Kaytee is by and far one of the laziest manufacturers of pet products I've encountered. I work at a pet store, and have had ferrets in one of their cages that hated every second, and a guinea pig that hated their food and hay. Their cages are poorly designed, their hay is unhealthy and dry and lacking a lot of the proper nutrients, and they are, in my experience, generally all-around awful. KMS is the best you can get aside from straight from a farm, though Oxbow is good, too. Whatever you do, don't go with Kaytee. This hay used to be suitable several years ago for my guinea pigs. Not anymore. It is the rough, tough bottom portion of the hay. And it is not sun-cured, it is burned brown. I've given it a few second chances in the last few years and it just keeps getting worse. They should look to Petco's store brand to see what it should be.

Started training a new rescue, and these treats are small, but for training i cut them in half as the reward. My first dog likes them and he's picky....so i couldn't just give a bunch of treats to one and not work with the other...so i let my other dog train along, within one day both of them are sick... one throwing up and pooping 7-8 times with running stool, and the other lost the ability to even alert me and make it to the door...thanks to the other user that posted the ingredients are crap, i think literally too...i am disappointed that a dog food manufacturer would make something like this, thats not even cheap. The catnip-flavored Laxatone hairball remedy seems to be an acceptable flavor to my cats and works just fine in getting hairballs to move through their systems. The only downside is that I have to keep it refrigerated so that it will be a consistency I can work with if I want to put it directly in their mouths instead of goobering it on their paws to lick off. It's very liquidy and runs right off my finger. That's a problem with my cats because I can't let them see the tube as I'm approaching them or they'll run away. So, when I put some on my finger and leave the tube behind, it's tough to walk even 30 feet to get to the cat without the Laxatone dripping off of my finger. My 7 year old Sheltie had to have a "dental" at the vet with the risk of anesthesia, and the cost to me, last October. I vowed to prevent that from happening to her again, which the vet warned can start within months. We adopted 2 more dogs over the next 2 months. The newest rescue dog we adopted in December, a 5 year old Sheltie, arrived with nearly as bad teeth as our first girl had, before having her teeth cleaned. Plaque Off has prevented any plaque or tartar from redeveloping on our first dog, and has removed all tartar from the newest girl (the vet said she could still see a little tartar at her visit 2 months ago, but could tell that it was chipping off by itself) The 12 year old dog we adopted in November had awful (disgusting) breath, tartar, and bleeding gums, but due to her age and poor health/cancer, the vet and I agreed we could not do anything for her teeth, and she hated me trying to brush them (they all did!). 1 week on Plaque Off and her breath was no longer a problem, 5 months and she no longer has any tartar except for one canine and that looks like it's chipping off, too. Also, no more bleeding gums. She can eat better and the vet didn't even think she would live this long due to her cancer. She's obviously a happier dog all around, despite being a "hospice" dog. I am now utterly convinced that this product is safe and more than effective. When does a product actually do what it says it will anymore? This one does! Give it consistently and give it time, and once you are convinced like me, tell everyone you know including your vet because dog owners need to know about this. As my title says I was really hoping that this would get some or all of the tartar/plaque off my Maltese's teeth so I wouldn't have to have a Vet put her under (always a dangerous procedure for animals or humans). My Maltese weights 6-7 lbs and is normally feed two Cesars a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. During the coldest months of the winter she sometimes eats three and this was the time period I put PlaqueOff on her meals. The label says that for dogs up to 25 lbs. you put 1/2 to 1 scoop on their food. I put a full scoop on Annie's food, every time I fed her, so you can see that for her weight she was getting a heavy dose. The label says that you will see results in 3 to 8 weeks. Well, it's been 8 weeks that she has been on it and as much as I really want to see a decrease in the tartar/plaque, I can discern no reduction in it at all! It saddens me that it didn't work for Annie but I wanted to share my experience with other loving pet owners. One point further. The label also says it gets rid of bad breath and that it did very quickly. Before starting her on PlaqueOff her breath would at times peel paint and now she can lick the tip of nose with no pain to me. However, I did not buy it for that purpose but was much more concerned about her tartar/plaque for which it did no good. I may buy it again just for the breath because Annie is so little that a container will last about 10 weeks. Annie is a very finicky eater but she seemed to have no objection to PlaqueOff being mixed in her food.

I saw improvements within the first day after using this product on my boston terrier. His ears stick straight up and he is prone to infections and allergies. His litter-mate brother's ears are perfect-so he's just a sensitive dog. I tried the zymox that got great amazon reviews--tried it for weeks and saw no improvement. Zymox made him worse I believe. Not to say that it's a bad product, but for my dog it didn't work. Synergy cleaned the area and soothed him. I saw his little personality change too. This product is promoted as safe for puppies but my nine week old Boston Terrier has choked on them. He is able to bite the tip off with his razor sharp teeth and has no regard for how big the piece is. They only last maybe 20 minutes tops. Just like the title says, my one-year-old, 22 pounds, scrawny terrier-poodle mix ate one of these regular-sized edibles in under 10 minutes -and that's an approximation. Now I'm just waiting for him to produce some interesting vomit, though I hope it doesn't come to that. Can't be good that he inhaled one of these like it was a cheesy poof. I hope his early morning poop is normal 'cause I hate having to wipe his butt on the rare occasion that he eats something 'off'.
