Hi, so I got this toy for my budgie. He loves it! It has ropes that he likes to tear up and he also likes to chew on the wood. It is a little too big for budgies but he likes to swing on it since it is so large. I put this toy in a spot where my budgie could fly onto it and play with it. I also like the look of it. My 3 Dogs all love this as a snack and great for training because they

are not consuming bigger regular size dog treats which add body weight

very fast. As my Veterinarian once said to me, dogs do not realize the

difference between a 1/2 of a dog treat milkbone or a whole one. A treat is

a treat to them. Downsizing helped my 1 dog drop 10 pounds and my other one about

5 pounds. Their knees/cruciates suffer from overweight/overfeeding any foods or treats.

I learned loving them does not mean giving more or to many treats. Small treats, playing with them or a

hug is always better & healthier

excellent training or treats for pets.

No fussiness from any of them.

Wow! My two Shih Tzu's just love these. These are their favorite chews. I have purchased many chews and rawhide bones for my puppies. But none of them seem to last for more than a day or so. With these, my puppies will chew on them for the better part of a day. And yet they have lasted for over a month. The two puppies will fight and steal from one another. This is a great product! Nice thick peices, no bad smell, and sourced completely in the US. I feel good giving these to my dogs and they love them. Some of the other chews we have tried have had an unpleasant smell and my dogs won't touch them. They're pretty picky but when they won't touch something it makes me suspicious. I trust their instincts.

My 1-1/2 year old Pomapoo cannot have corn, wheat, soy, beef, chicken, pork, or dairy due to chronic ear infections. This rules out most rawhide chews of any kind, including pizzles and Flossies, which are her favorites. Bison and other game meats are fine though, and although these are pricier than beef or pork pizzles and Flossies, they entertain this power chewer for hours. Her 3 year old brother, my male Pom, just gets to benefit too. I can give them a half a chew each (we hacksaw each chew in half for them since one whole one a bit much for smaller dogs), and they're occupied for at least 4 hours easily. Wish I could buy them on Subscribe & Save!

Our dog will do backflips for these treats. We have like the idea that it's a healthy alternative over other treats.

This is a good snack, even the chicken flavor. But the dogs go nuts over the duck. Something about it keeps them sitting for more.

And they are very easy to cut with a pair of scissors when they are fresh, so you can make smaller pieces for smaller dogs. That is advised. A full size strip is not needed as a treat. 1/2" size bites are plenty.

Spendy little treats that keep my Jack Russell Terriers busy with for a few hours. They stink, but they are a treasured treat and much adored. This is a once a week treat because of both the cost and the smell but if you ever wanted to see your dog smile, you'd give them to your dogs too.

Milk Bone Chewy Treats or Soft Chews are the best treats for my Yorkie, she's less then 5lbs and these treats are easy to break into small bites. I thought this would keep my dog busy for a while with little treats so that he wouldn't be so bored while I'm at work. So, I put in a handful of treats, put it on the floor, and let him discover it. Went into the other room for a minute and came back to a toy with a much larger hole in it... He decided just to cut to the chase and chew the treats out rather than roll the toy around. Lasted about 4 minutes. Thankfully I found all of the pieces of plastic and he hadn't eaten any. Not durable enough for my German Shepherd.

My dog (a 100 lb. malamute) adores this toy. I purchased one of these about 15 years ago for my previous dog and he loved it too. Our routine is to put some of his kibble in the ball and let him knock the ball around while I get ready for bed at night. It's a great distraction and the snack before bed helps him sleep through the night.

Although there are other products out there that basically do the same thing (i.e. the Buster Cube), this has always been a favorite. I'd looked EVERYWHERE for another one over the years and could never find one. I lived in fear that ours would be lost and our night time ritual would be ruined. Fortunately, while searching for interactive dog toys on Amazon, I stumbled across this and ordered one immediately!

Received this item from Amazon, and immediately put in a return request for it. The plastic is hard, and I could tell that my dog was going to destroy it within a few minutes. I received a notice from Amazon that said I could keep the unit at no cost, so I decided to try it out with pup and see if my initial thoughts were wrong.

They weren't. Within the first treat I shoved into the thing, my 9-month old Australian Cattle Dog ripped away the bubble with the hole in it to get to the treat. No only was the toy destroyed, but it presented a choking hazard for my dog if he decided to try and swallow the plastic pieces he tore off.

Totally disappointed in this thing (even with it being free), and would not recommend it.

The toy was easier for my dogs to chew to pieces than it was for them to engage and play with it. Thus, it lasted less than a day.

My wife & I religiously bought dental dinos for our corgi. He is a powerful, obsessive chewer that tore anything else apart that we gave him. He's been through many over the years. Recently, on a routine visit to the vet, they found that both of his molars on top were cracked & infected. They are currently performing root canals on each. If the root canals do not work,they'll have to pull his most important chewing teeth. The vet (who is a dental specialist) said that the injuries were directly related to this product. We purchased the Stegosaurus at a local pet store the day we adopted our cattle dog mix. At the time she was about 45 pounds and 8 months old. We did not know what kind of chewer she was, but felt that a product designed for "powerful" chewers up to 50 pounds would be a safe choice. It was not. She worked to remove the head and tail of the dino and while we were able to get the larger pieces from her, she swallowed several very small pieces. And much to our embarrassment, at her first vet visit (3 days after adoption) we were told to stop giving her whatever "white plastic" toy she was chewing and eating. Enough pieces had gotten into and through her system to cause the vet concern she may not pass all of them.

I am giving this product 1 star because:

1) It is described as a product for powerful chewers it did not hold up

2) It is rated for dogs up to 50 pounds while on the upper end of the scale, our dog fits into that category and the product did not hold up

3) the vet warned us to stop using the product as the size and shape of the pieces were potentially harmful to our dog.

I wanted a Christmas gift my Pit Bull Terrier would love, so I got this dinosaur, something different from the regular bones. Long story short, we opened it on Saturday for Christmas, she chewed on it for a half an hour and started whining and excessively drooling. I looked in her mouth and saw she had fractured a canine tooth. My dog was in excruciating pain for two days because of the stupid shape of this bone. She was chewing on it's tail, and it literally broke a slab of her tooth off. The whole tooth had to be removed, costing me $300, and a day off work to get it fixed, not to mention all the pain and anxiety my dog went through. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

I've been giving my pitty the Nylabone brand chews since she was little. We've tried the Big Chews, Regular and Wolf size, and even the smaller ones and have never had a problem before this one. She loves the liver and bacon flavors, but I've been hesitant to give her any of these bones since our incident. She loves them though, and they keep her teeth clean.

Edit 1/4/13 I contacted nylabone via email about the situation awhile back, and apparently, my dog is too big for this bone. She is approximately 60lbs, and this bone is made for dogs up to 50lbs. They sent me a huge gift basket of nylabones appropriate for my dogs size, and some books about Pit Bulls. The company definitely has great customer service! Make sure to buy the bones that are rated for your dogs' weight and you shouldn't have a problem with them at all. My dog still loves Nylabones, and we continue to give them to her. She's 6 now and still has very white teeth no decay at all.

This is a highly effective shampoo treatment for dogs (and cats). We purchased it because our Pomeranian had been scratching incessantly day and night for weeks. There were no signs of fleas. But then my husband thought to look into scabbies and she had most of the symptoms. I went to Amazon, as I do for most products, did a search for a dog shampoo treatment for scabbies and this is the only one that came up for scabbies -several products came up for fleas. We tried to find it locally in pet stores, but no one had it. We immediately ordered it and it arrived in 5 days. We shampooed her the same day we received it and it relieved her itching considerably (90-95%) on the first use!

My only complaint is that it is very pricey for only 4 ounces (size was not mentioned) and has a high shipping fee. But we still are giving the product a 5-star rating despite the price because it works.

This shampoo smells great, sort of like licorice. I bought it to wash my cat. My only complaint was I didn't realize that I was buying a 4 oz bottle. I looked at the description again to see if maybe I had missed the size in the descriptive. It said "1 bottle" and I guess one bottle is exactly what I got. So buyer beware. 1 bottle in this case means one 4 oz bottle. I'm sure there is something else out there that works as well and is less pricey.

I have given my Great Pyrenees 4 baths with 1 bottle. I started off lathering her entire body then just focused to the infected area's as the bottle dwindled to nothing. I have NOT seen any sort of improvement to the mange, not one bit. Her patches are still red, there is no new hair growth not a damn thing different...besides the fact that she smells good (this mange never smelled from the get go). I don't suggest this product for a dog with mange based off what result I got from using it for that specific purpose. I do not know how it works with ticks or fleas.

Just do what the vet says and buy the meds that are proven to work. I tried to take the cheap way out, now I am out 30 bucks for this and still have to buy the regular meds. I hope you enjoy my donation defendex because it's the last I will ever give to you.

Paragon recently updated their packaging changed the name for these to Whimzees. The packaging is slightly bigger than the old and now comes with a velcro closure rather than the plastic zip closure. The pack will now sit up right on the shelf, unlike the old packs that would fall over.

Our 14 pound dachshund/chihuahua mix has a small mouth so these are perfect for her plus she begs for these when normally she turns her nose up at treats. They don't last very long, for her it's about 5 minutes. Our local dog store sells these single at .49 each but Amazon (with Prime) they come out much cheaper at around $13.

They measure at about 2 1/2" long.

There were slight ingredient changes with the new name and update, but they still smell and feel the same and our dog didn't notice any difference (at least she still enjoyed them as before.)

Ingredients: potato starch, glycerin, powdered cellulose, lecithin, brewers dried yeast, color added (malt extract, annatto extract, alfalfa extract).

Crude protein min. 1.1%

How Long lasting it is:

11:51 all the crusting is gone except in the middle and the rawhide is starting to break away on the ends. small chunks are starting break off on the ends of the rawhide.

sounds like cracking on chicken bones by 11:53 with one end of the rawhide almost gone.

11:54 the middle of the bone crusting is still there.

not long enough for the dog to hold with paws.

11:55 first sounds of burping

11:56 the middle crusting is almost gone, and it is small enough so that the whole bone is running back and forth in her mouth as she chomps down

seems to really enjoy the taste. licking carpet making sure all crumbs are eaten.

noticing the pieces that fall off are not large, as my dog still seems to chew well before swallowing

11:58 still a good bit of the bone is left. continuous chewing.
