This is a highly effective shampoo treatment for dogs (and cats). We purchased it because our Pomeranian had been scratching incessantly day and night for weeks. There were no signs of fleas. But then my husband thought to look into scabbies and she had most of the symptoms. I went to Amazon, as I do for most products, did a search for a dog shampoo treatment for scabbies and this is the only one that came up for scabbies -several products came up for fleas. We tried to find it locally in pet stores, but no one had it. We immediately ordered it and it arrived in 5 days. We shampooed her the same day we received it and it relieved her itching considerably (90-95%) on the first use!
My only complaint is that it is very pricey for only 4 ounces (size was not mentioned) and has a high shipping fee. But we still are giving the product a 5-star rating despite the price because it works.

This shampoo smells great, sort of like licorice. I bought it to wash my cat. My only complaint was I didn't realize that I was buying a 4 oz bottle. I looked at the description again to see if maybe I had missed the size in the descriptive. It said "1 bottle" and I guess one bottle is exactly what I got. So buyer beware. 1 bottle in this case means one 4 oz bottle. I'm sure there is something else out there that works as well and is less pricey.I keep buying this. It keeps problems at bay supresses them for a while but it hasn't really cured anything. I will keep trying though. This is the best stuff I found out there.I have given my Great Pyrenees 4 baths with 1 bottle. I started off lathering her entire body then just focused to the infected area's as the bottle dwindled to nothing. I have NOT seen any sort of improvement to the mange, not one bit. Her patches are still red, there is no new hair growth not a damn thing different...besides the fact that she smells good (this mange never smelled from the get go). I don't suggest this product for a dog with mange based off what result I got from using it for that specific purpose. I do not know how it works with ticks or fleas.Just do what the vet says and buy the meds that are proven to work. I tried to take the cheap way out, now I am out 30 bucks for this and still have to buy the regular meds. I hope you enjoy my donation defendex because it's the last I will ever give to you.This product worked well with managing my dog Simon's mange problem, but it returned after the bottle was gone. What really works is any tea tree oil shampoo. Give your dog a bath two times a week for three weeks and my guy is basically back to normal and looking good!
