The treat size is about two times the size of the non-large breed treat. The treat is recommended for dogs 50 pounds or larger. Here's the "funny" part, the dosage is 1 treat per 10 pounds of weight. Our dog is a Great Pyr, and is about 160 pounds. That would be 16 pieces about a half pouch. We only give two treats at a time.

I ordered the 8 count, and the first pouch of treats opened aren't soft, but they aren't hard either. The other reviewer commented on the product being stale and hard. I think the product, regardless of merchant, is a hardish product. The first bag we received from our vet was about as hard as the ones received online. Our dog doesn't care, he LOVES them.

I was looking for a product to replace Greenies for my three year old Chinese Crested. Although Bonnie never had any serious problems with Greenies I read about dogs choking on them and I know a few dogs even died. I realize dogs can choke on any product but I began to get very nervous.

Flossies are great! Each Flossie lasts a lot longer than an individual Greenie did and they appear to be digested better by my

dog. The crude protein in Greenies states "not less than 52 per cent" and in Flossies it states Crude Protein, minimum 89.73 per cent!" It is a low fat treat that my precious "baby" loves.

By the way, in fairness to Greenies, they have come out with a wonderful "SMART BISCUIT" that is very digestible for dogs, as well as a treat called BARX, which is a very healthy soft snack stick.

But Flossies will last your dog a long time and Bonnie guards her's ferociously!

I got this for a large American Bulldog. He likes it and it is good quality at a fair price. It does have corn in it but at least corn is not the first ingredient. This is good basic dog food, nothing fancy but it's a bargain and it actually smells like it is edible. The cheaper dog foods smell vile and toxic, this smells like actual food and the dog likes it and is doing well on it.

Our breeder introduced us to Diamond Adult Maintennance Chicken dog food. She explained to us that we needed to make sure the protien levels in dog food are not too high as it could result in too fast a growth spurt in our 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. After feeding my dogs what I THOUGHT was a "Premium Brand" food: (Iams Healthy Natural), and paying for that as well, I stumbled upon this website: / and found out how it was actually rated. Much to my sadness, the Iams premium food that I had been paying so much for, was not only one of the WORST foods for my dogs, it was also probably contributing to the downfall of my older dogs health. She was slow and sluggish, and just didn't want to participate. At first, I thought that she was just old, and then I read about what I was feeding her, and her younger sibling. I was Horrified. Think of the movie "Super Size Me" -30 days and nothing but McD's for every meal) Now compare this "movie diet" to a Dogs Diet. If that horrible Fast Food, did that much damage to the director, in a very short amount of time, then just imagine what is a constant diet of poor grade dog food, doing to our furry family members?

That was when I figured out that, I was even paying more for the Iams as well! The Iams has a 17.5 pound bag for $21.87that comes to $43.74 for 35 pounds! Premium Edge? Only $39.99 for a 35 pound bag, and, I don't have to go to a fancy food store either! Thanks to Amazon, it gets delivered for free, by my UPS guy, (he isn't too happy about it, but I remember this, at Christmas time, and really hot days when cold water and a snack is much needed).

Now, if you could actually SEE the difference in my dogs coat, her disposition and energy! Oh my goodness! It changed so much that, I even went so far as to order a book, on how to bake their doggie treats as well! From now on, they get nothing but REAL FOOD. My dogs are like my children, and I would NEVER feed my kids, all of that horrible junk that some of those other foods are made from. In EVERY commercial, they (the dog food companies) spend millions to, lead you to believe that, you are buying the BEST but in reality some of the supermarket brands, are actually BETTER than the Iams food. I'm just upset that I was spending premium money on sub par food.

My advice: look up the brands on that website, look it over, and purchase the BEST food that YOU can afford, for YOUR dogs my shelties don't eat much (some people can't afford premium food but at least get what you CAN afford, by the crude breakdown) For Us,,, this works out to be a win win situation I don't have to go to the store my dogs are eating PHENOMENAL food, and they show it. All for the same price, (if not actually less) than the Iams Healthy Naturals.

I never thought that I would actually SEE the difference in my dogs, just from the food that they are being fed! All it took was, four weeks for my Older dog, to turn back the clock, and start acting like a younger dog my other one that is only four he was already acting like a pup, but at least I know now that, what he is eating, won't start aging him prematurely. I could not be happier, nor can I say enough about this incredible brand of food Just look for "Premium Edge" (in ANY flavor).

UPDATE: after finding out that this brand has had recalls from its plants for things like unsanitary machines, and fungus I switched foods ASAP for the safety of my Pup. I now use Nature's Variety Prairie Dry Dog Food, Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Medley, 30-Pound Bagit is reasonably priced, and I cannot find ANY recalls on the brand my dog loves it very much check out the reviews on the Natures Valley you won't be sorry!

Both of my Miniature Pinchers are allergic to wheat, and one is seriously over weight. (She has a thyroid problem, and is on medication) We had to find a wheat free healthy dog food. I don't think there is a better quality low fat weight management dog food out there, My 11 year old Rottweiler/Lab was diagnosed with pancreatitis so he requires a low fat diet of 10% or lower fat. This is hard to find in any dry dog food but Premium Edge Weight Management II (not I) fills the bill with 8/10% fat. The ingredients in this food are really good. I have asked my dog and he likes it and gobbles it down but he doesn't love it. The only problem that I have is the kibble itself. It seems to look very dry and there is a small amount kibble crushed into powder on the bottom of the bag. All-in-all I still don't think the quality and price can be beaten.

I have two cats, who (play) fight about everything. I needed something to calm them down when they ate because their eating became, well, weird. One cat figured out that if she stopped eating and sat there staring into the hallway she could freak out the other cat, and then get the other cat to go into the hallway to figure out what was there. The first cat would then eat the second cats' food. That was bad enough. However, after a few days of this the first cat somehow got confused and decided that there really was something out there, so she would end up in the hallway too. I could have lived with that, I mean eventually they would have to come back to the kitchen to eat. Only, the two of them decided the best way to deal with the imaginary `thing' in the hallway was to bolt down their food, then run into the hallway ready to attack. Attack a thing that one of them had totally made up in the first place. Anyway, that was when the cat barfing started. Everywhere. All of the time. The cats could clean their bowls in 15 seconds flat, and two minutes later it came out like their stomachs were spring loaded. My living room was overpowered with the stench of cat spew and carpet cleaner.

I figured these feeders would be perfect for slowing down their eating. I purchased two of them and put them in a bedroom, nowhere near the kitchen or hallway. I figured changing things up would help stop the whole fake monster thing and get them back to eating like normal cats. My first cat absolutely went crazy for the feeder. She loved pulling the food out; she actually would get so caught up in it she would pace back and forth, pulling food from the various levels. Unfortunately, she also became territorial about the feeder. Being that there are two feeders, that shouldn't matter, right? Well, in the deranged world of my cats, it mattered like nobody's business. As soon as the second cat realized the first cat didn't want her near the feeder, it was all out war, kitty cat Armageddon. That feeder became by far the most entertaining object in the house for that cat. She would sit on the stairs and wait for the other cat to approach the feeder then attack.

A few days later the first cat found a solution that I'm not so sure I like, but I'm not sure how I could put a stop to it either. The cat paws the cat food out of the feeder and flicks it around the room. By doing this she's been able to scatter enough food around the room that she can eat now without being attacked as much. She does end up eating most of the food, and a dust vac takes care of what's left. I'm sure there's another solution here, but this one kind of works so I'm sticking with it.

I'm giving these feeders five stars because my cats have gotten tons of entertainment out of them. Nothing the company intended, but in the end I'm sure that normal cats will enjoy the feeders just as much. Also the cat barfing did stop so it does work great for that.

My cat LOVES this feeder. He's an agressive boy and always gulped down his food so fast! So, I got him the Stimulo to slow him down and give him something to think about. He figured out how to use it after a couple of tries, and though he knows how to get the food out, it's still fun for him, he makes sure to get out every little drop of food.

Move the tubes around to different spots, don't put food in every tube or put different amounts in different tubes to keep it fun. The company sells another tube length as well, seperately from the dish.

I use it for both dry and wet food, and yes, it gets dirty, and yes you need to clean it. But I do MY dishes everyday, so why not his too? Just do them at the same time. I soak the tubes in a pan of really hot water and then just have to rinse them out. It can be tossed in the dishwasher too, nice and easy.

Kitty will think it's great!

I have 2 of these, and I'm buying 2 more so my 4 cats will each have one. I have a male cat that was notorious for eating too fast, and then vomiting. This center has slowed him down, and he LOVES it. He no longer vomits from eating too fast. He actually prefers his food to be placed in this versus a bowl, and will stare at his bowl, waiting for me to put it in the center. My other cats liked it too, so I bought a second one, and now I'm getting 2 more. It seems to entertain them to scoop the food out. The surface is "pebbly," which keeps them from scarfing it up. I was out for 12 hours and my automatic feeder broke so I came home to two unfortunate starving cats. I served them their usual amount in bowls and they sucked up their food like a vacuum.

10 minutes later they regurged their food. Silly meI had this product but I didn't use it...

Originally I bought it because I have 2 Bengals and I wanted them to forage for their food but they were making too much of a mess. I went back to bowls and occasionally used an automatic feeder when I knew I'd be out for a long time.

PROS:

Prevents gorging.

Stimulates foraging (makes them "work" for their food")

CONS:

Makes a mess.

Light weight. One of my cats picked up the whole station by gripping one of the taller tubes with his mouth. He figured out that if he picked this up and tip it over, he'd get all the food easier. To overcome this, I duct taped a 5 lb. flat weight under it. Problem solved :-)

The bowls are neat--a plastic platform with tubes and cups that hold the food. They are huge. Check the specs.

I bought these because my cats are now 11 and they are hungry all the time. They ask me for food constantly. I bought these to make the cats eat more slowly and hopefully to help them feel some intellectual stimulation. It did slow them down.

This bowl may encourage your cats to play with the empty bowl. My cats never used to do that and now they bang them around and knock them off the cabinet. Annoyingly the rubber stops on the bottom don't grip the wooden surface where the bowls sit.

It's messy. The surface is not smooth plastic so small pieces of food get caught between the raised edges. I don't know why the designer didn't leave the surface smooth.

Also you're not really supposed to feed pets from plastic dishes. Besides there are other pet food bowls for half the price. Or you could just put out several small cups and bowls for your cat to pick and choose and locate. For the price of this product, it should be much better quality.

So room for improvement but also not a bad item for cats who believe they're starving to death.

Every can in the order was damaged. I have ordered the same product directly from Wysong previously with no scratch / dent issues. In fact, the order I placed through Amazon had the exact same identifying numbers and use by dates as had my prior order directly from Wysong with the damage of cans as only difference. When you order through Amazon, this product costs about two dollars more, but you don't pay the double digit shipping costs. Seems to me, Wysong may be off loading their damaged packaging on to Amazon purchasers in exchange for not paying the shipping. If that is the case, they should just be up front about it.

Since I had recently purchased the exact same product from them, I was able to directly compare, and the actual dog food seemed perfectly fine and consistent. The product itself seems to be of the high quality to which we are accustomed from Wysong.

I might not have thought any more of it until I saw that the only other person to leave feedback seems to have had the same experience.

If Wysong is dumping it's scratch and dent products into the Amazon market, I believe this to be a mistake. I have always appreciated the high quality of their products and still do. It would be a shame if such a large group of prospective customers available through Amazon were to be turned off to such a great company and product because of a reasonably unlikely coincidence or poor judgement call.

First Impression: Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls are like puppy crack. Dad buys the roll and cuts it up into finger sized pieces. Then he uses his Food Saver to vacuum seal the left over pieces of the roll. When Dad trains me, he uses pieces of the roll as treats. He keeps them in a ziploc bag in his pocket when we go on walks. I didn't like the Turkey flavor as much; they were drier and less tasty. I would recommend the Natural Balance Dog Food Roll Lamb Formula to any Rottweiler, but I won't share mine.

Conclusion: Absolutely the best training treat I've ever had! Liver treats are good, but they can be too rich and upset my stomach. Plus dad says these are WAY cheaper than the liver treats.

I have a large 97 lb 12 year old dog who tore his tendon on his right foot. Fr almost 2 months, he wore a splint from the vets (which meant weekly visits for them to check and rewrap). I saw this and thought GREAT. I spoke with their customer service rep about the size, because the length of his paw to ankle verses the weight did not measure up. They said extra large (to go by the weight). Got it in, was very careful to keep it clean while the vet put it on him (due to their VERY strict return policy). I noticed after a couple of hours it was slipping on him. I wish now I would have gotten a large and not an extra large. Of course, by this point he had already worn it outside and around the house so there is no chance they'll take it back. They told me I could put more padding in it, wrap it or use a heat gun to make it more narrow. I'm VERY afraid he is going to re Injure what the vet splint has healed over the past 2 months. I'm going to try to see if I can rig this bootie to make it work, but if not, the back to the vet we go for the other splint they provide. I think this would be a good product if you get the right size however due to the price and the strict return policy, I won't find out for sure.

Overall, this item served its purpose for us. Our American Bulldog had a soft tissue injury in his right foot and we needed to keep the foot immobile. Regarding the size, we ordered using the specified chart with measurements and

weight, but straps were still a little too large for this to fit as securely as it should.

NOTEReturn policy very strict...need to read before removing splint from wrap.

I don't want to give this product a negative review just because it wasn't suitable for my particular situation. My dog has Osteosarcoma and has a tumor on his front leg. I thought it would be a good idea to add support to the leg to prevent a fracture due to his unbounded energy and rambunctious behavior. The tumor was just in the wrong spot to work with this brace so I have fashioned something soft and unfortunately less supportive for him. The Walkin' Wheels splint appeared to be a high quality product and the company was really easy to work with and let me exchange a large for an extra large and then ultimately do a refund when I realized it wasn't going to work. The key is keeping the product really clean ie. put a sock on dogs leg and if they are going to walk and try it out put a sock over the splint too.

I would highly recommend this product. My boxer broke both of his front paws and he needed additional support to help him as he healed. They were easy to take on and off but I would recommend a larger size for a boxer. Also, once my dog began to heal his paws became a little crooked and splints didn't fit right at that time so we really only used them for about a week.

Unfortunately I ordered the medium and I have no clue why unless that was all that was available. In any case, it was entirely too large for my 20 lb. guy so I had to take the chew apart and hammer each disk into two pieces. If there is a petite size, I will definitely order one because Bailey loves the taste and the chew action.

My dogs love the Snook's sweet potatoes. They're nice and crunchy, organic, made in the US, and very healthy for the dogs. Just be sure you give your dog only *one* piece a day. I've given these as gifts and both people handed their dogs an entire rope! The dogs didn't get sick. Just lots and lots of big, orange piles.
