I have been giving these to my cat for several months. You have to tear them in half for cats, but my cat needs the kind that don't aggravate her allergies and they don't make the non-allergenic kind in the cat size. They do have an unusual smell, but its not that bad. Really, its not that bad.

We tried these thinking our dog had a food allergy. Luckily, we discovered that a food allergy was not the issue because it would have been difficult for us to continue using these pill pockets. My star rating has nothing to do with the allergen aspect, only the smell. My husband was unable to ever use these and I had to hold my breath when giving them to our dog. The smell only bothered us, our dog didn't mind the smell and seemingly enjoyed the taste. If your dog needs them, then I recommend them--with caution of smell. We love Greenies Pill Pockets and use the beef, chicken and peanut butter (our faves, smell-wise). Have to give my dog allergy meds daily and buying them this way is great! Cheaper and easier than buying at the pet store, where they may or may not have it in stock.
