These are the updated version of Paragon Toothbrushes. The product is almost identical, but they've removed the questionable titanium dioxide coloring which is wonderful! This means that toothbrushes are a more natural color. Also that my dog won't make any more of those weird ghostly white poos :)

My dog seems to like them even more than before. And is begging for one right now since i'm holding the bag. The bag no longer says that they are made in Holland, so I was worried that the production value had dropped. However the website says that they are still made in Holland.

Here's the new ingredients list:

Potato Starch, glycerin, powdered cellulose, lecithin, dried brewers yeast, color added (malt extract, annatto extract, alfalfa extract)

I originally started my dog with Paragon Hedgehogs made of the same substance at the toothbrushes, but in a larger form factor when he was a teething puppy about a year ago. At that time, he was really slow to finish an entire Hedgehog, but once his adult teeth came in, the thing would be gone in a day and that was way too much dental chew to be ingesting at a time. Now we give him one toothbrush a day after dinner. He'll spend half an hour looking for the perfect hiding spot for it and then give in and eat it. He loves these "toothbrushes" and gets so excited when we give one to him.

These treats are made from vegetable starch and have a mild smell like potatoes. They are currently made in Holland.

The "toothbrushes" come in a few sizes. Our pup is 15lbs and we give him the "toothbrushes" from the "small" bag.

My dogs love these. They get so excited when they see I'm going for the bag. I give them to my 14lb and 28lb dogs. I love how they don't give them the undesirable side effects that sometimes the more common dental sticks do. I like that they are as natural as you are going to get, and they do keep my dog's teeth clean. I give them 1 every day and the vet said my 3yr old's teeth looked great. Last year she said they probably would have to be cleaned, so these have saved be at least $500 in cleaning fees! I also like the "velcro" like seal; much easier than resealable zipper bags.

These are good chewy treats -they last much longer than things like Dentastix. I feel like they're healthier too. The price isn't as good as what I'm used to on Amazon -hence the four-stars instead of five. I can get these cheaper at my local pet store. Still glad I got them though.

My puppy can't keep his paws off. As soon as I open the packet he starts drooling :-). There is nothing not to love about them. They are all natural and vegetarian.
