We have four dachshunds (three are rescues)& had run the gamut of chews, dealing with the mess of beef & a serious choking incident (LEARN the Heimlich Maneuver For Dogs!! ). Compressed beef rawhide will absorb saliva & swell in a dog's throat; after the incident with our youngest dog, I ordered these "Pork Chomp" baked rolls, & won't give the dogs anything else now. The young one is the most voracious chewer we've ever had, but he never has digestive issues with the baked pork, despite consuming a good deal of it on a regular basis. The other dogs love the "Pork Chomps" as well, give them a try if you're tired of the mess & choking danger of rawhide.

Given a choice our dogs will take the Pork Chomp every time.. Chinese made but there have been no problems. Well packaged and clean. Highly recommended.

My yellow lab puppy loves to chew these and she can generally devour one in a few hours. But they are well made and digest better than rawhides and do not seem to affect her stool that much. She used to get diarrhea with the beef rawhide chews and does not seem to with these. Can be hard to find in pet stores and I am glad that Amazon sells these.
