My German Shepherds get a can of this mixed with their dry food every morning and they love it. They will no longer eat cheaper canned foods. I have never tried it myself, but if these two spoiled brats like it, it must be good. It also has a pop top, which is very convenient when two large dogs are drooling with anticipation.

Although this food is called "Wild Buffalo Grill" and the front of the can says "wild buffalo, yukon gold potatoes, zucchini, carrots, peas, red delicious apples", the ingredient list (in order) is: deboned buffalo, beef broth, deboned beef, deboned turkey, turkey broth, peas, carrots, apples, zucchini, dried egg oil, natural pork flavor, potato starch, and some other things. The title, the list of ingredients on the front, and the order in which they are listed is misleading.

I purchased this because my dog is not allergic to buffalo. He is allergic to both beef and turkey. The seller is partially at fault as well for not displaying the ingredients.

My dog happily eats this. She's been eating Merrick brand treats and canned food since she was a pup (she's now five years) and she's always loved it.

My dog is diabetic, and I need to closely watch what food she eats. The "prescription" diabetic food she would not touch, wound up donating it all to a shelter. Most commercial foods contain too many ingredients that are not great for diabetics including the very high quality foods. Merrick canned foods are all low on the glycemic index, plus they taste good so it is not a chore getting her to eat them. This is the only prepared food I will purchase for her (in a variety of flavors) she alternates between Merrick canned foods and homemade. She really does enjoy pretty much all their flavors. I mix in a spoonful of pumpkin to each to help her with her tummy troubles.

Came vet recommended. Had a Dachshund and a Pit-bull that were both 15 lbs over-weight. After 6 mos feeding them Merrick, they have gotten to where they should be and maintained their proper weight. Plus our little dachshund, who is a picky eater, loves it.
