These are dry biscuits that my dog likes a lot. I expected them to be soft; but they are dry like dry dog food. They are easy to crunch for my dog. My dog is about a hundred pounds and these biscuits work good as training treats which are easy to handle and use. My dog likes them; so I'm glad that I bought them. I had used the soft varsions of Natural Balance training treats (chicken and beef ) about a year ago with good results; I had to cut those up into smaller sizes where as these biscuits are at a good size now for immediate use.
