These are good treats, small and crunchy. Unfortunately the packaging is defective. We have bought at least 10 or more packages over the last 6 months and none of them can be resealed. They have the zip strip but it does not work. When we first open the bag the cats gobble them down but turn their noses up at them when the bag gets about 1/2 used. We have tried sealing with a clip and that has helped though the more finicky cat still will not eat these treats after the bag has been open for a few days.

eta-Note that this review is for bags of treats. They keep substituting the canister picture which probably closes fine.

My British Blue loves these. Initially suspicious (as he is with any new food), he was soon trying to get them out of the can himself. As it says on the pack, I only have to shake it and he comes running. Only trouble is, I bought these when on vacation in Tucson and we live in the UK.

I saw this today at the local organic food shop and it was only $1.99 so I thought I'd give it a shot. However my cat Garfunkel just won't eat them. He sniffed it, gave it a taste lick, and walked away.

I offered it up to him a second time later, and he just didn't want them.

I have two kitties, an orange tabby and a tortie. The tortie, will eat these treats if they are in front of her, but she could take em or leave them. The orange tabby, on the other hand, goes bonkers for them. She will come from anywhere in the house if she hears the can move an inch. I have several friends that she despises, but she will gladly come to for a kookamonga treat. The kookamunga folks also make a soft version of the treat that the finicky tortie loves. I think these people also make the cosmic catnip product that drives both my kitties crazy.

I picked up a huge 5oz can of these kookamunga catnip treats (chicken flavor) since my cats love treats, and they love catnip.

Well, my cats who will normally eat any treats I give them have avoided these like they were made of pooh. :)

I even put some outside for the neighborhood cats who normally come running whenever I put special treats out. So far, no takers. Not even the raccoons seem interested and they've been known to swipe the cat food I put out.

Even the neighborhood dogs who will gobble up anything without even tasting it won't touch these things.

While I'm on the subject, I also picked up some catnip in a tub to give my cats and they won't eat that either. Maybe there's just something about the catnip they use in their products that is turning my cats into catnip snobs.

Anyway, if you're going to buy this to try out, get as small a container as possible to make sure your cats actually like it. Don't do what I did and buy a huge thing only to find out your cats won't eat it.
