My hypothyroid dog needs a pill twice a day. Each plastic packet in this bag contains 2 pill pockets. You can tear them in half to get double the pill doses (60 total). Up until the last few pills, my extremely picky dog took these readily. He would NOT eat Pill Pockets from Greenies. I imagine most any dog would like these. They have a meaty, smoke smell.

I've never had a pet that had to get daily meds (in pill form) before, and just felt that giving treats, or cheese, was far too many calories, etc. on a daily basis. This is a fantastic alternative! My senior dog has arthritis and therefore is on meds twice a day. It was great to see a healthy alternative to what we had been using, knowing he'll be on these meds for the rest of his life. He gobbles them up, and they are pliable enough to enclose any type of pill, so you don't need to buy two different types to give meds. My new favorite, and I HIGHLY recommend them! We are on our third bag, and have become a loyal customer.

I use this for regular administration of allergy meds to my dog. I appreciate that it does not contain non-food fillers or GMOs.

These do not form around larger pills as nicely as "pill pockets" do. Also, they come 2 to a plastic sleeve inside the outside bag. if you only use one they tend to dry out quickly and crumble more readily before next use. Don't plan to purchase more. I like "Pill Pockets" or "Pill wrap" much better.

Not overly thrilled with the Pillbuddy Naturals. The new version stayed together and would wrap around pills, where the Greenies Allergy Formula would not, but a little smaller and designed to use 2 for each capsule so not as economical. The individual wrapping on each pocket probably helped keep them stable for a longer period of time, but also creates more work to get them out... time consuming when you have over 4 pills twice a day.

Overall, a good allergy formula pill pocket but I have gone back to using standard pockets which my dog will sometimes swallow.
