I HAVE BEEN TRYING DIFFERENT FOOD AND EVERY TIME I FIND ONE THEY LIKE, I FIND OUT IT WAS MADE IN CHINA. I LOVE MY DOGS AND DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO HAPPEN TO THEM. I CAME ACROSS THIS ONE AND NOTICED IT WAS MADE IN THE USA SO I DECIDED TO TRY IT. I HAVE 2 BOWLS ON THE FLOOR. I FILLED ONE WITH THEIR OLD FOOD, WHICH THEY LOVED, THEN FILLED THE OTHER BOWL WITH HALO SPOT'S STEW. THEY GOBBLED UP THE SPOT'S STEW AND LEFT THE OTHER BOWL JUST SITTING THERE. IT'S A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH A LITTLE MORE TO KEEP MY DOGS SAFE, AT LEAST FROM ONE THREAT. I WOULD BLOW THE EXTRA MONEY ON JUNK, AND I'D RATHER BLOW IT ON MY BABIES.

We have a Bichon who was in the hospital twice with severe allergic reactions before the vet confirmed it was the wheat in her food that was causing it. At the time Halo was the only brand that offered wheat free dog food that was both breed size specific and nutritious. Not to mention affordable. Lili loves it and has had no further issues with food allergies now that we have made the Halo switch for both wet and dry food.

This is great for small dogs and I can only guess pooches love the flavor because I tried other options without the same results.

My dachshund will eat, and has eaten, anything that he can get his jaws around...except dog food. I had resorted to home cooking for him on a daily basis, and Fred was very happy about that! It got to be too much for me but I had concerns about the safety of prepared dog food.

After doing a great deal of research I decided to give Halo a try.

It doesn't get any better than this. Fred loves his new food, maybe a bit too much but then he is a dachshund! Buying from Amazon means no special trips to the big box pet store. Perfect!

The only drawback was that I did have to transition Fred very, very slowly, it took about a month, to avoid messy digestion (you know what I mean) problems. But, it was well worth it. I highly recommend this product, especially if you have a fussy eater.
