My dog, Mookie, loves these biscuits. She received them in her monthly Bark Box. They smell great, and have all people friendly ingredients. I just found out she is allergic to many ingredients in other kinds of biscuits, so it's great to know that these do not contain anything she is allergic to. I'm going to purchase another box!

We received Wagatha's Tuscan Pizza Biscuits as part of a monthly box deal. I prefer to give Lola, my beagle mix, holistic and organic food over cheap super-processed junk, so I was excited to try them out.

Well, she obviously liked the Tuscan Pizza flavor, because she didn't hesitate to eat them when we gave them to her. Unfortunately, the biscuits were giving her atrocious bouts of gas. Starting 12-16 hours after eating a couple of biscuits, her intestines would be audibly growling (you could hear it from across the room) and she would be in obvious pain; this would last for about eight hours. During this period of time she wouldn't eat, she'd be very whiny, and she wanted to do nothing except eat grass when we took her for walks. Thankfully for us there was no diarrhea accompanying the gas, but she was in so much discomfort that we were very close to taking her to the emergency vet on two occasions. She was miserable, we were miserable, and a bad time was had by all. It took us a couple of weeks to realize they were the issue because of the several hours that it took for symptoms to begin (we initially thought that she was eating some kind of foreign matter on walks). Sure enough, the problems stopped after I withheld the biscuits. After a week of no biscuits, I gave her two more just to be sure (sorry Lola), and about 16 hours later we're having the same problems.

The only thing stopping me from giving these biscuits one star is that I'm not sure if this is just an issue with my dog, or if it's something that has a high probability of happening with other dogs. HOWEVER, she has never had ANY sort of negative reaction to any other treat or dog food, even cheap $0.99/bag made-in-who-knows-what-country garbage, so I have my doubts that it's just an issue with her. If you do want to try these, start with just a couple and observe your dog for at least 24 hours before giving any more.
