Our 10+ year old golden was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma (cancer) in April of this year. He had his spleen removed, thankfully before it ruptured, and there was an 11 lb. tumor. Biopsies of his liver and lymph nodes were clear, but we were still devastated, as the oncologist told my husband that without chemo he would give our dog 4-6 weeks. We chose not to put him through chemo, as that would just prolong the inevitable, and we did not want him to be burdened with the effects. Instead, after much research, we changed his diet to an extremely healthy, high protein, low carb variety. (We have been an Iams family, but moved to Evo, as it has a much better ratio of protein). In addition, I read nothing but good things about K9 Immunity Plus (with transfer factor) and have been giving our dog these supplements 3 times per day for the past 7 months. He is a senior dog, with the usual issues that large senior dogs can have, but you would not know he is sick. He has an extremely healthy appetite, is very playful, alert, happy and basically his usual self, just an older version. Do your research, as chemo can compromise whatever is left of your dog's immune system, making the cancer more likely to invade further. We chose to boost our dog's natural immune system to help him combat this awful thing. I believe that this product has certainly made a difference in the quality and length of our dog's life!

2 years and 8 months ago my dog was given 4-6 weeks to live without chemo treatment. She had stage 4 lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) and was already very sick from it. I went ahead with the chemo treatments which bought me about a year cancer-free before a relapse. This is considered the 'average' time before relapse occurs with this type of cancer (Lymphoma) and treatment (Wisconsin Protocal). I went ahead with another complete treatment of chemo but unlike the first time I immediately started treating my dog with this product (2 per day for my 45 pound border collie) once all the treatments were over. I was told that after a second chemo treatment they usually relapse in about half the time (so an estimated 6 months in this case). But so far it has been an additional year and eight months with no relapse. My dog is happy, healthy and plays like a puppy despite being over 10 years old. Please don't get the idea from me that this is a good alternative for chemo. I personally think the chemo was necessary to get rid of the cancer, but I also think this has probably done a great job at helping boost her immune system to help prevent the cancer from returning. I believe that when the body's immune system is working properly it does have the ability to fight cancer. I also did start giving her broccoli and tomato at the same time which are suppose to have cancer fighting properties as well but have not been giving them as regular as the K9 Immunity Plus. I can only tell you my experiences, I can't predict yours but for all of you out there that have canines as loved family members I wish you luck and I hope this serves as helpful information to you.Buy K9 Immunity Plus Size:Medium Now
My dog was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September 2011 and began chemotherapy shortly thereafter. I researched supplemental therapies and came across a review for the K-9 Immunity Plus, which the author said seemed to help her dog feel better during chemo. While there is some interesting human research on the active ingredient (polysaccharide) in this product, I can't say whether it has made a difference in her progress (excellent!) with chemo treatment. What I can say is that after a few weeks, we noticed that she was more energetic and playful and just generally seemed to feel better. It's expensive, but definitely worth a try.Read Best Reviews of K9 Immunity Plus Size:Medium Here
My last dog had bladder cancer and I used the old K9 Immunity products that were separate wafers and caps, he lived to be 15 and I'm no vet but I really think the supplement helped. Well I finally adopted another dog and found out that he had lymphoma, so while he is going through chemo I also immediately bought the K9 Immunity and I really like that they have made it an all in one product that I can give him like a treat. My vet even commented the other day that she has a lot of patients using it, and while she couldn't "prescribe" it she thinks it is a good addition. As for my dog, the lymphoma is in remission and he has plenty of energy and hasn't gotten sick. I'd highly recommend it if your dog has cancer.Want K9 Immunity Plus Size:Medium Discount?
My ten year old Afghan Hound was diagnosed with lymphoma, and our Vet gave her a few months to live. We went through two sets of eight weeks of chemotherapy, and while it was difficult for our girl, she toughed it out and after the treatment, the cancer was in remission. I was doing research to see what might keep cancer at bay and came upon these supplements, which were highly recommended by pet owners (not by Veterinarians or scientists). We have been giving them to our girl regularly, and it is now 17 months since she was first diagnosed. According to the initial dim (and realistic) view of our Vet, we have had 12 or 14 months of joy with our girl still in our lives. Was it the chemo? Her constitution? The love she gets? These supplements? We cannot be sure whether it was one, two or all of these factors combined, or sheer good fortune. However we do know she is still with us and going strong, and I will continue the regimen of giving these supplements. Btw, I was initially paying almost $60 for these, and have recently found them available at around $25. Same item, less than half the price. Caveat emptor.
