Bought these at a local pet store. Went home, eager to watch my turtles chase them. Here's what happened instead. Each piece I dropped in just sank immediately to the bottom of the tank, where my turtles ignored them. The pellets were not totally without effect, though, because the water's dirty looking now.

As others have stated, they do not float and are super messy. My RES wouldn't eat them. He just poked at them and swam away.

I bought it at the store but came here to see if others had had the same issues, or if I got a bad batch. Nope, its not just me. Def does not float, but unlike what others reported my turtle does love it. So while I'm pissed off that I did not get what they advertised I do like that fact that my turtle likes it

I rated this a three star product only because my turtles seem to enjoy it, especially my painted. These products rarely float (if you gently place the product on the water, it may float for a few) so there is defiantly no chasing involved. The large goldfish also seem to like it because it dissolves faster then I thought it would.

I truly dont have anything good to say about this product. Well, it does come it a nice resealable bag.

Unfortunately, it makes the water extremely dirty. I have a nice cannister filter for my turtles, but it cannot clean up the mess from this product. It only floats for about 30 seconds. My turtles are mildly interested in it. I'm kind of forcing them to eat it, because I have already spent the money on it. (the economy effects us all)
