I have two very large dogs, rescued Irish Wolfhound mixes. They have huge jaws and can sort of inhale most chewing distractions. These are great because they don't fit in the mouth, so the dogs have to gnaw at them. This keeps their teeth clean.

They will slowly worry them into bone powder over time, and I take away the nubs when they get small enough to choke on.

I board dogs in my home through DogVacay, and find that these really help distract anxious dogs, and allow them to work off energy at the same time, especially when it's too rainy to go outside. Many times, I send one home with a guest who has especially benefited.

Sometimes, my dogs lose interest. The house is littered with bones. When this happens, I pick them all up and put them in the big basket. Soon enough, the dogs go and pick out favorites again!

These are a little messy when first opened, and will really hurt you if you walk into them in bare feet in the middle of the night.

Dog absolutely loves these! Good price for how long they last. Will probably buy another box of 10 when this one runs out, but they last for a very long time. My lab is still on the first bone (2 months of chewing).

I have gone through many different bones from different companies. Some have caused serious GI problems with my two labs and two rescue dogs. So, I found out that how they are prepared and where they come from makes a difference.

These bones are the best. My dogs love them, no GI problems, and they chew them for hours.

After they seem to get tired of them, I split them in half with an ax and then they have a renewed love.

I buy 10 at a time. They are the all time favorite in this household.
