I bought this product today for my 8 month old 7 lb puppy at a local pet store. I was expecting it to last A LOT longer then 10 minutes. Maybe they meant for young puppies it is longer lasting...but for older puppies I would say go for the regular dog healthy edible. She loved the flavor and texture...but I just don't think for the price it was worth 10 minutes of her playtime.I gave this to my 2 month old puppy because we had an hour car ride. Think toddler with a bag of cookies. She was so quiet that I kept looking back to see if she was okay. This kept her attention and kept her satisfied the entire car ride. It was so good that I only use it for a treat when we are in the car now and I keep it in her carseat. The taste must be pretty good too because by the time she looked up she had crumbs all over her. If you have children remember those shots where the kid has baby food all over his/her mouth. That's it!!! Great choice.I only gave it 4 stars because I thought it was the bigger version of this same bone. We love the nylabone edibles, my australian shepherd puppy eats through them pretty quickly (5 mins or so) but he knows they are an extra special treat/reward.
