My dogs chew through all raw hides faster than a pitbull can. Plus, one of my dogs is allergic to most animal rawhides. Both my dogs LOVE these and they last. I gave them each one for an hour and they hardly made a dent in them! At first they smelled it and looked at it like what? I guess they smell different to them but once they started on the bison rawhide they were in love. Finally, rawhides that last and are not messy. these are great for aggressive chewers. Don't let the price put you off. They are a bargain because they last and last!
The small are about 5"X1" and densely rolled.

Sure, this rawhide is expensive at 5-6 dollars per rawhide. However, it is excellent quality (many rolls very tightly rolled) and takes my GSD hours to go through one. For reference, he can eat a thick bully stick in 5 minutes and a Himalayan Dog Chew in 30 minutes. For the time spent chewing per dollar, these rawhides are a deal! My Bernese Mountain Dogs just love these rawhides. The rolls last longer than those with the knots at the end.Pricey but worth it.Part of this rawhide broke into shards juts like the rawhide that I have purchased at fleet farm. Not sure why it crumbles into splinter like pieces, they aren't really sharp however it kind of defeats the purpose of chewing. They didn't last as long with my dogs as did for some I noticed in the reviews. For my coonhound/malamute mix about an hour. The Weimaraner lost interest after 15 mins (normal for hershe wasn't adverse to this particular product).
I have to say I like the wholesome hides products the best. The hide is thick and it softens up well with chewing. they are not cheap : ( I wished to try Tasmans as its a U.S product. Be wary of rawhide from other countries as it is likely made from rotted hide sent overseas then bleached and rolled. Because Tasmans is US made and natural, I give it stars and I might try them again if I am at the store and can inspect the roll end to see if it looks thick and continuous and like to not shard.

Pound for Pound...inch for inch, this is the most durable of rawhides. Normally our girl will chew through a rawhide in 20 minutes. We are 2 hours in (not continuously) and they still are 90% there....wow!
