I LOVE IT! I have a 70# dog that just loves to walk, but she pulls and changes direction a lot and God help me if she sees a dog/squirrel, etc. before I do. I have bad knees so I had to stop even trying to walk her because I was afraid of falling or getting pulled in the wrong direction to fast and hurting myself. A friend bought a gentle leader for her dog and let me try it. It was like walking another dog. Amazing. The very next day I ordered these -one for me and my Sami and the other for her second dog! Sami is almost 9 years old. Wish I'd tried this years ago....but I've created a monster because whenever I put on shoes, she thinks we're going walking -never mind about work, errands, etc. Let's just walk!

Our 8 year old lab, who's never walked well on a leash (pulls, lunges when she sees cats or wildlife) was literally trained in 5 minutes. I watched an online video on best ways to use this. (Have dog sit give small treat, place loop on nose give small treat, take loop off, repeat, fit collar snugly on back of head give treat etc.). Our dog who always barked when we pulled out the leash, ran around the room etc., is now TRAINED! 5 minutes. She walked the first time out at my left, did lunch once when she saw a cat, but I just held firm to the lead, said "no" and kept walking. We have had 2 weeks of bliss and I feel ridiculous that this has been a struggle for 8 years. I think it's very important to fit the collar correctly, and as stated, i chose a you tube video to show correct placement. This sure was a worth while product. We have four dogs that we walk daily weather permitting. We use the gentle leader on two of them and that did turn a pulling walk into a nice controled walk.
