The BEST product for giving pills to your dog. I have to give my dog two pills a day. She's happy she gets a treat two times a day and never passes these things up. I find it easier to mold the pocket into a ball after I put the pill in, just in case. Shipped fairly quickly and arrived in excellent condition. Some have complained their order came in spoiled but I didn't have any issues. Two different sizes, it's important to understand that.

Bought these for a tiny Cavalier KIng Charles Spaniel suffering from some as-yet-to-be-diagnosed neurological issue -at best, probably epilepsy. Obviously with a condition like that it's important that her meds get where they're supposed to, on time and as prescribed. That, they do.

Unfortunately with issues like canine epilepsy, diet can be critical, so I feed her only grainand preservative-free kibble. But these pill pockets, though handy (and apparently tasty) are made with wheat and corn syrup, two ingredients I (like other owners of special-needs dogs) go out of our way to avoid.

I like the assurance of being able to wrap her meds in the squishy treat. But I do wish these squishy, tasty treats didn't contain the very ingredients we're trying to avoid. Hence the three-star rating for what should really be a five-star product.

We use these with our older dogs who have regular pill regimens. These are the 'Tablet' size, which are smaller than the 'Capsure' size, and will hold a couple of small-ish pills pretty easily. If you picture a standard old Bear Aspirin round tablet, this would hold one or two of those.

The pockets are flexible and squishable, meaning that you can mash and spread them around pills to the point where none of the pill is visible, and we've never had a problem with our dogs wolfing down their meds with these. Also, we keep the packages of pockets handy near the feeding area, which makes them much more convenient then getting cheese or other hiding places out of the fridge during each meal-time.

THese aren't big enough for the tablet I feed my dog, hence I have to use 2 of them. Thought I would save money when I saw the price. Didn't realize that these were a smaller size, as with the exception of the word "tablet" vs. "pill," nothing was stated about size. The product description needs to be much clearer. Other than that, they are OK.

I have two Bulldogs that have allergies. My Frenchie needs meds everyday twice a day. I couldn't do without these. She thinks they are a treat. It makes giving medication so much easier.
