These are one of the few bargain items I buy for my dog that is actually better than the "real" product. My 20 pound mixed breed dog ignores all of the white colored Nylabones (the hard ones) and can chew right through the soft ones (that are sort of gummy-like). This is a perfect happy medium. It is durable like the white nylabones but the surface isn't so hard that my dog can't scrape up the ends when she's chewing, which is what she likes to do. One of these lasts at least 6 months around here before I replace it and it's only around $2 for the small size at Wal-Mart. I grabbed two of these chew bones along with four other toys off off the grocery store shelf as some last minute Christmas Eve fun for my house full of rescue dogs & fosters. Two other toys from Hartz labeled "Tuff" were destroyed within a few minutes. Three days later, the Chew 'n Clean bones & rubber Tiny Dog ball remain. They are standing up to my toughest chewers and the dogs seem to really enjoy them. These are perfect size for my Cavies. They love them. If you purchase them at pet store they are $6.00. Found them at one grocery store for $4.99. But under $3,00 on amazon. Now where are you gonna want to buy them at? You need to replace the bones about every 2 months, because of bacteria.
