This food is not what I expected. To be fair, it could've been my misinterpretation and not a faulty description. I thought the seeds themselves would be fortified, like Lafeber's Nutriberries or Wild Harvest supplement mixes. Instead, the 'healthy' portions are separate and, consequently, easy to pick out. The egg protein pieces and fake cheerio-looking pieces end up on the floor of the cage. My birds are accustomed to real cheerios & weren't interested in the darker compact pieces in the seed mix. The majority of the 3 lb bag is getting tossed out to the wild birds.

My order arrived on time. My cockatiel loves Egg-Cite. I buy it on line because the pet store I went to does not sell it.
