This treat jar is about 5" high and the perfect size for my cat's treats. I had little treat bags and bottles lines up and pouring them in this jar took away the clutter! I'm not very visual so I wasn't sure how large this was going to be, I was worried it would be too big. It's fantastic! It held four pouches of treats and a jar of 'Pounce' with a bit of room left over. I wouldn't use it for a dog unless it was for the purposes of packing a light meal or snacks for traveling. Four stars instead of five because the lid is extremely tight...good to keep treats fresh, not so good when you're trying to open it =0) For the price the product can't be beat!

We use this to keep our medium size dog treats accessible on the counter. It's a nice looking container, and the lid seals tightly enough to keep the treats fresh. It holds about half a box of Iams medium biscuits, for size reference.

I like that the mouth is wide enough for me to reach my hand in to the treats at the bottom our prior jar had too marrow a mouth to do that.

It does seal tightly enough to make one handed opening a little tough. But the one day I dropped it, it also didn't spill all over either which was nice. The plastic is substantial enough to withstand a fall.

This is an awesome treat jar. It is much bigger/wider than it looks in the picture, but still doesn't take up a lot of space. My husband (who is not small) has no trouble getting his hand in. It seems to seal pretty well, and is easy to open and close.

I buy the economy box of treats for my dog, but the box is too big to keep under my sink. This works great because I just go to the basement for a refill.
