I have a new puppy and wanted the best (not the most expensive), but the best for my puppy. Wellness brand is the one most recommended for food, treats, etc. I am very pleased with it and my puppy likes it too!

I have a 5-month-old Rottweiler and sometimes she's a little willful and doesn't want to go back into her crate. Dog biscuits were an OK incentive to get her in the crate, but she was never terribly enthusiastic about hard treats. I bought a couple of different brands/kinds of soft treats and these were the ones she liked the best.Pros:
*Wellness, as a brand, has a good reputation for using high-quality ingredients.
*Treats are an appropriate size (square, maybe a little more than 1/2 inch on a side) for my puppy. They might be a little large for a toy breed, but they'd be pretty easy to tear into smaller pieces.
*Treats stay soft even if the bag has been open awhile (assuming you usually re-seal it after removing a treat).
*And most importantly of all, my puppy gets REALLY excited about these treats. One little square is enough to get her off the couch and into the crate. (She actually gets excited if I get anywhere near the place I keep the treats.) The smell of these seems to be quite attractive to the dog, but it's also not so strong that it bothers me.
Bottom line: these have really assisted me in training my puppy and I've bought 4 or 5 bags of them now.
