I got this for my dog when she was about 1 year old, she's 6 now and still will play with it. I have a smaller frisky dog that likes things that squeak and have stuffing. but she has always liked this toy. over the years the only real damage is that the center hard plastic piece took a beating and a chewing, so i took it out so my dog wouldn't swallow it. let me say, my dog can and will destroy EVERYTHING. all types of toys, hard and soft plastics all plush toys and whatever is in between. So this toy is very resilient.
I recommend this toy for lots of fun fetching, as it bounces when it hits the ground and keeps on going. (comes in such great colors too!)
