My dogs (2 large) suffered color/preservative allergy, and the other a vitamin c deficency. This brand was reccomended by my vet and I have been using this brand with no further problems for some time. At first I could only find this brand at the horse supply store, which was not so convenient, so I was happy to see these products online, with free shipping. I love the brand which does not use artificial colors, preservatives and is well balanced.
I did forget which variety of this brand I normally buy...and with a 50 and 90 lb dog, I would be happier with the kibble size in the "large breed" variety. I purchased this variety because it was a good deal, but I did expect the kibble size to be at least as large as the other varieties I had tried. In a 50 lb bag, I would assume most people would purchase for a large dog so it's good to know the kibble size: flat discs 1/2" diameter by 1/8" thick, mixed with tube shapes 1/2" long by 1/4" diameter.

I'm not sure what has twisted the tales of other reviewers, this is fine dog food. I was worried I had missed something and checked the contents of other dog foods I trustnamely Kirkland Signature adult dog food (some say Diamond makes it for Costco). Long story short, this dog food is competitive with top brands.I have two spoiled Labrador Retrievers and they thrive on this stuff. Astre is quite picky and loves this stuff, both have beautiful glossy coats, excellent health, good energy. Absolutely no reason to think this is anything other than good quality dog food.

My dog loves this food. She eats is all the time. The only thing she loves is the brown little sticks in it and she seems does not love the yellow small patties which seems to tasteless. So far that is her favourite. I was looking for something appropriate for her little mouth since she is a yorkie and not every single tasteful food is on the market for yorkies. I found it and she loves it. and she can chew it, which is one of the best things! Buy it if you have a yorkie or other small dog.
