We have 3 Goldens (3, 6 and 11 years old). The 11 yo gets the treats by picking up the entire puzzle, jumping up on the couch and gently removing the yellow pieces that cover the part that holds the treats. Despite being a chow-hound, our 6 yo could care less and didn't even "get" that she needed to spin the red piece. The 3 yo male simply paws at the toy until he can get the yellow pieces off by swatting at them. The toy has taken a lot of abuse by him and the yellow pieces snap back on easily. Maybe we should consider adopting a Border Collie next time... ;-)

Well maybe my dogs are geniuses or just really, really strong. Their strategy for this game is to flip it over with their paws and all the food fall out. Game over!!!Buy Kyjen Dog Games Puzzle Treat Triad Now
Our Lab puppy was able to figure out how to turn the red bar and left the dispenser lids, but the angle of the treat pod is such that she can't fit her snout, or manuvuer her tongue very well to get the food. Even turning her snout sideways didn't help. The idea has promise but unfortunately the design is lacking. We'll keep trying but it doesnt really hold her interest since she can't get the reward.Read Best Reviews of Kyjen Dog Games Puzzle Treat Triad Here
Awesome puzzles! Great deal! Fast shipping! Level 3 puzzles are very challenging. my dog loves all of them. Great product!!!This toy is great for the dog. Spend some time teaching them about the parts of the puzzle, then sit back and watch them learn how to get the treat. Some supervision is required at first (my dog kept flipping it over), but after a while they will be able to play the puzzle alone, so you can use it to occupy them for a while.
